Chapter 107: Unexpected Re-Encounter

(3rd Person: POV)

Moving through the streets of Orario the entire Athena familia were on their way to the Hostess of Fertility.

It was a night of celebration after all.

Not only had Ariane reached level three, but Morax and Leonmitchelli had finally finished all the paperwork the guild had assigned them so they could sell the Grimoire Echidna makes without any issues.

To congratulate her children for all their hard work, Athena took them out to party.

Arriving at the Hostess the Athena familia wasted no time and entered through the front doors.

The moment they did so their eyes were assaulted by the usual sights seen at the restaurant during the night.

Adventurers blowing off steam, and delicious food.

"Reservation nya!" Anya cried out the moment the Athena familia entered the Hostess.

Once she did so the cat-girl sat them down at a table.

She then handed them menu's and took their drink orders.

Then before long the Athena familia ordered and their food was brought out to them.

But as this happened Gaul spotted a familia face.

Luniore.

She was bringing food to his table along with Anya.

Assigned to do so by Mama Mia.

Seeing her again after he looked for her for a while Gaul had no idea what to say.

Luniore was in the same boat when she finally noticed Gaul sitting at the Athena familia table.

She almost dropped the plates of food she was holding on the tray. But luckily Morax was sitting right next to Gaul and managed to retrieve it just in time.

He was also glad that Luniore ended up at the Hostess just like in the original story.

Chloe as well, who Morax spotted earlier.

Now he has no idea how this happened since Ryuu is part of their familia, but well it doesn't really matter to him in the long run. So long as the two girls are working at the Hostess.

And plus now Gaul has a chance to form his own small harem.

Which Morax will gladly help him do.

It is a masters job to show his apprentice the way after all.

Moving on.

After Gaul's brain finally rebooted once he saw Luniore, he broke the silence between him.

"Hey." He said.

"Right." Luniore responded.

A simple greeting and then the silence returned.

"Hey Gaul, do you know her?" Leonmitchelli asked her brother.

'Thank you sis.' Gaul thought.

Leave it to his sister to simply run over the mood of a situation like a bull in a china shop.

"Gaul, are you perhaps thinking something mean about me?" Leonmitchelli asked.

"Nope, not at all sis." Gaul said.

Lying as easily as he breathed.

"And yes, I do know her. This is the girl I told you guys about." Gaul said.

Since he happened to mention Luniore to the girls in his familia and Athena herself.

The moment Gaul said this Luniore got a light blush on her face, while the eye of all members of the Athena familia turned toward her.

'This guy is part of the Athena familia, not to mention he told them about me.' Luniore thought.

She was flattered and embarrassed at the same time.

Though before things could go any further Luniore stiffened when she felt a glare directed at her.

She knew it was Mamma Mia.

"Am, sorry but I need to get back to work." Luniore said.

"Right, yeah. I completely understand." Gaul responded.

Once he did so Luniore went back to working.

Even so Gaul couldn't help but look at her.

"So that's her huh?" Rogue asked.

"Yeah, I can see how you might fall for her. She's definitely your type of girl." Leonmitchelli said.

"Dammit, I was hoping she was made up." William said.

Drinking from his beer mug as he did so.

But everyone just ignored his salty butt.

"To think after you looked for her and didn't find her the two of you would end up meeting like this." Millhiore mused.

"It must be some sort of fate." Ryuu said.

"Yeah, must be." Morax added.

"Yeah." Gaul said.

Not really paying attention to his friends and sisters comments.

Instead his mind was filled with thoughts on Luniore.

"Well I'm glad for Gaul. But we came here to party so let's do so!" Athena cried. Lifting a mug of beer into the air. A smile on her face.

Her switched has been flipped to party mode.

Hearing this the other members of the Athena familia also decided to follow her lead.

Even Gaul.

He knew he would get his chance to talk to Luniore eventually, so for now he just enjoyed the good food and drink along with his familia.

It's why they came here in the first place.

As the night went on the Athena familia really did party.

Until eventually the Hostess reached closing time.

When this happened, the Athena familia backed up and got ready to head home since they wanted to stay out and party until the last moment.

All of them were pretty drunk.

Hell, Athena has passed out from drinking.

The only exceptions were Ryuu, Ariane, and Diluc.

A few people decided to remain adults to get the kids home.

"We're closing up!" Mamma Mia shouted. "So get your assess out." She said to any remaining guest.

No one argued with her.

Especially given she is a level-six former adventurer and former captain of the strongest familia in the city.

People who tried to go against Mia were either really stupid, really arrogant, or a combination of both.

As the Athena familia picked themselves up and got ready to leave, Gaul approached Luniore.

Reaching her he simply waited for her to look at him.

When she did he put a soft smile on his face.

"Hey so, can we talk?" He asked. Hoping she would agree.

"About what?" She asked.

"Ah, well. I mean...Stuff." Gaul said.

He is not doing well.

Not only is he drunk, but he's not sure how to express his feelings about Luniore at the moment.

Though one thing he does know is that he really wants to talk to her for a moment or two.

"Sorry, I'm still working." Luniore told him.

"Girl, talk to the lion-boy!" Mamma Mia suddenly spoke up.

She had watched Gaul follow Luniore around the pub the entire night with his eyes. Looking like a lost kitty who was too scared to move.

Honestly she found it both a little cute and disgusting at the same time.

That's why she's trying to fix the situation between the two of them right now in her own way.

Turning to Mia Gaul slightly bowed. "Thank you mam." He told her.

"Well at least you have manners. More than I can say for some of these barbarians." Mia commented.

Gaul simply stayed bowing for a few more seconds before turning his attention back to Luniore.

"So, can you talk? I mean if you don't want to that's fine as well. Just well, I would really like to." Gaul explained.

"Sure, we can talk." Luniore said.

Since honestly she wanted to talk to Gaul as well.

Once she agreed the two of them took a seat at an open table in the corner of the pub.

Seeing this Morax put a soft smile on his face.

'Nice job Gaul.' He thought.

After he did so he ushered his other familia members out of the Hostess.

Since Gaul needed to do the next part without too many prying eyes on him.

Talking to a girl you like is never an easy thing to do after all.
