Chapter 32: I will fight

Celeste POV

I sit down in Zayden’s study with Oliver. After he mentioned that he knew a way to defeat Devlin, he ran out of his room to find Zayden. So, we all gathered in Zayden’s office. If I could describe Oliver at this second, I would say he looks like a mad scientist.

I know he mentioned he didn’t get a lot of sleep, but I think he has been pulling all-nighters. Oliver opens a book that he was holding and stands up.

“After reading hundreds of magic books,” he holds up the book for us to see. “I took this one from my house before we left to come here. I didn’t think much of it, because I didn’t know much about Celeste’s magic. But this book has a lot that we can use.”

He opens a page and clears his throat.

“To the one with pure magic, blue as the sky and ocean. To cleanse the world of evil, be pure to yourself and thus your magic will be pure back to you. The pure one will be able to defeat the demon of the night.” He pauses and looks at us both.
