Liam left the room and headed for king Erin's study room which was now his own. He left the room for Elena for two reasons, one being the fact that he had a lot of piled up paper files waiting for his return. Since the day he left Amstrid to foot the war, more paper files have been piling up on his desk. He had cases to judge, disputes to settle, execution letters and so many others to stamp.
It felt like the prime ministers and generals were only there to answer the title and they did little to no work as everything was taken care of by Liam since he was the king.
The other reason he couldn't stay in his room was Elena's attitude. She was acting all rude, but Liam could tell that deep down she was scared all over again.
