Meet Elena Morgan; The only child of the Morgans, as well as the arrogant and bossy heir of the Morgan Empire, which is a well known business enterprise. She lives in a time when the rich and wealthy owns it all, which makes her to give zero value to those who are under her. Meet Liam Kincaid; The future heir and one of the seven princes of Amstrid, a hidden kingdom only few knew about. Liam is the kind yet brutal; loving yet cold; free-living yet merciless type of prince. He values the life of everyone, but treats injustice and crime in a very disdainful manner. Both later get acquainted, yet Elena treats Liam indifferently, and considers him as someone who is unfit to stand next to her, unaware that he's a future king. Liam got to find out the truth about who he really was after so many years of being lied to. His life takes a different turn when he discovered his mother had been lying to him concerning the special abilities he was born with. His fate finally caught up with him, but was he willing to accept his fate...? Elena ended up falling in love with him, but will her feelings for him change when she gets to find out he's the devil's son...?
They both sat in silence for a while. Elena looked round the room. There was only a bed, an armchair, a study table and a bed side table in the room.
The study table was on the far right corner of the room with books stacked on top.
There was a bag next to the bed which she assumed contained his clothes since there was no wardrobe.
"Who are you and what do you want from me? Since you don't want to kill me or take advantage of me, then what do you want? If it's money, then name your price." Elena said in a frail voice.
She was scared of this man since she had no idea what he really wanted from her.
Liam had his right arm covering his eyes as he rested his head backwards on the chair.
He took his arm off his eyes and stared at her. "There's no need for you to know who I am. As for what I want, I don't want anything from you." He simply said before returning back to his original position.
Elena was shocked. "What kind of asshole are you? You don't want anything from me yet you abducted me."
"Abducted you? I did no such thing lady." Liam said with his hand still on his face.
"My memories might be clouded, but I could still remember little things that happened hours ago." Elena said with her lips pouted.
'Does he think I'm a fool?' She scolded him in her mind.
"Really now? So what exactly happened hours ago?" Liam asked sitting up acting as if he had much interest in what she's about to say.
"Well... If you insist. I remember Derrick taking me to a dark alley where you stood with six other guys waiting to abduct me."
"Then what?" Liam questioned her.
"Then I passed out and I woke up here. So yeah, you abducted me." She said fearlessly forgetting that he might do anything to her if he wanted to.
"You're lucky you passed out then else I would have yanked your hair real hard for falsely accusing me. Listen princess, I wasn't among your hired assasins okay?
I just happened to be on that alley when they hit you in the head, and I did what any gentleman would have done." He said sitting back on the arm chair.
"So what are you saying? That you saved me?" Elena asked doubting him. 'What games are you playing you filthy criminal?' She muttered.
"I heard that and I'm not playing any game with you. I just told you the truth." Liam said staring at her blood soaked top.
She was on the floor during the blood bath and got some of the thugs blood on her shirt.
She followed his line of focus. 'Was this shameless fool staring at her boobs?' She wondered angrily.
She looked down, and saw her bloody top. She yelped at the sight of the blood.
"That's your proof that I saved you from the people who tried abducting you." Liam simply said not minding the frozen expression she had.
"Are... are... are you saying that they're.... they're de... dead?" She asked in fright.
"Probably. Who knows?" Liam shrugged like killing was his every day thing.
"What happened to your arm?" She asked as she stared at his wounded upper arm.
"Just a minor injury. Nothing you should worry about." Liam simply said.
"Was it from the time you saved me?" Elena inquired
"Yeah." He gave her a short reply.
The room was silent once more, both staring at each other and saying nothing.
"How poor are you?" Elena asked in disgust as she stared at the shabby environment she was in.
His bed was not even as big as her armchair back at home.
Her words took Liam by surprise. "Are you fucking serious right now? That's the first thing you would say to me after finding out I just saved you from thugs?"
"So what if you saved me? My parents would have tracked me down even if you did not show up.
So, to hell with the superhero bullshit. Back to what I was saying about your poor status.
Like what kind of a place is this? My dolls live in a much better environment."
Elena's facial expression had mix feelings of both pity, disgust and hate. It's as if she's allergic to anything that's not fancy.
Liam's mouth opened wide in awe. "You've got to be fucking kidding me. Are you damn serious? In case you don't know daddy's girl, your so called signal was cut off the moment you were hit in the head.
You get that? Your mommy or daddy would have never traced you down because whosoever came for you was smart enough to kill the signal.
So, even right now, no one knows where you are." Liam said angrily. 'What kind of brat is she?' He asked himself.
Elena was short of words. 'I would have been dead by now if not for this stranger.' She screamed in her head.
"Well that aside. I'll give you my dad's contact number after wards so that he can get you a job to earn a living cause this place speaks nothing but poverty and suffering. What are you good at?" Elena spoke confidently like she was aiding the poor.
"That's it, I'm out. Rest for a while. It's still few minutes after 4 in the morning, so I can take you back to the place I found you when the sun comes up." Liam gave up talking to her and took the green tea before heading for the door.
"Wait a minute. Where are you going with that?" Elena asked.
"You said you won't take it, so I'm going with my tea." Liam looked at her confused. Something about her interests him.
"I've changed my mind." She said harshly like she was his boss.
"Too bad." He said as he gulped it all, before turning off the lights, leaving her there in the dark.
"What the fuck asshole. Even after giving you such a huge offer, you still act so rudely towards me. Do you know who I am?" She yelled out, but Liam was no longer there to listen to her scream, although he could hear her from the tiny living room.
