"Dad, I'm eating tomato and beef jerky today!" Nian Bing sat by the side of the table, a spoon in one hand as he impatiently shouted at Lei Yunze.

When he saw his daughter, Lei Yunze's taut face calmed down.

"Then I'll have to eat more." His tone was gentle and his eyes revealed a calm smile.

"I received a call from Shi Qing today. They might be back this week." Ling Xiao Yue sat across Lei Yunze and shared the good news.

"Yes." Lei Yunze acknowledged and began to eat. He was always a little distracted today.

After dinner, Ling Xiao Yue went to sleep with Nian Bing while Lei Yunze went to his study to take care of the unfinished work.
