The competition continues. The remaining ten participants are called.

"The remaining fights are still 1 on 1 but there is some changes. Your qi is measured and you are ranked correct? In this fight, the lowest rank gets to decide who will he fight. He will replaced the rank of his opponent and will become his. You all can only fight two opponents if you win the first one. Any questions?"

"I have a question." (I asked it.)

"Go on."

"If a person challenged me and I lost, is that mean that I can't fight another one?"

"No. Only the challenger is in that rule. Once the challenger is defeated, he no longer can fight another. So the challenger must pick his right opponent. But you only have two chances so pick wise."

Ahhh. I get it. The key is to pick the right opponent. If you lose once, your rank will be the former rank of the challenger if you are challenged, but if a challenger loses, he won't have a chance to increase his rank, he might get lower too.

""Now the first challenger. Rank 10 Mei Kao, choose your opponent.""

Hmmm. I do want to fight the 1st rank but I know that I can't defeat him. I observed the fights of the top 3 ranker and by the looks of it, I can only defeat the rank 3 but that might not be the right choice for now. If I challenge him now, the lower ranks will definitely challenge me everytime. Better choose the rank 6 first.

""I choose the rank 6""

Rank 6 Kru Hu come to the stage.

This is a competition, killing is not allowed and will result to extreme punishment. You can win by defeating your opponent in any means. Whether by surrender or when you knock your opponents unconscious. Let the fight begin!!!

My opponent instantly charges towards me with an incredible spiritual force. He punched my chest and there was a moment of silence, I withstood his attacked and that left him puzzled. I then seize the opportunity and instantly dash beside him and knock him unconscious.

The crowed was silent. And then suddenly cheered because of the fight.

""Whoooaaa!! What was that. He is so tough.""

""I didn't even saw the whole fight they are too fast.""

The referee was astounded.

"Mr. referee. The result please."

"Oh. Right, I'm sorry. The winner is Mei Kao"

The crowd was amazing, they definitely enjoyed the fight.

My fellow opponents are amazed by me and others was wary of me.

"I don't think I can destroy his defense."" (Fellow opponent's remark)

I am successful in showing my skills to them and also giving fear to the ranks bellow me so that they won't challenge me. Removing my trouble of fighting them.

The succeeding fights happened and this is the results of the first fights. The ranks bellow me is changed. Lu Chen is now rank 5 as she defeated the former rank 5, the battle was tough and the gap between their powers are thin. But Lu Chen still defeated him. The rank of number 4-1 are not changed. They challenge the the rank above them and all of them was defeated. They can't challenge anymore. The only one that can still challenge are the rank 1, Rank 5, 6 and 10.

The rank 10 challenge 9 and failed. Now it is my turn to challenged another one.

Mei Kao, choose your opponent.

I choose rank 3.

"Whoa. He chose the rank 3, he has guts. Who do you think will win?" "I think the rank 3 can easily win against him." "I think he might have a chance, he has a tough body"

Rank 3 come to the stage. Let the fight begins!!!

""You are quite arrogant. Do you really think that you can defeat me?""

Urgh. I think this one is a bully.

He dashed to wards be with his sword and I blocked him with my fist but he still manage to damage me.

"Huh. Your body might be tough. But I can see that you are bleeding. You are not my opponent."

"Your skill is not bad. You manage to penetrate my armour body. But don't get get cocky. I still haven't show you my skills."

Our fight continues, we are equally matched but I have an advantage. I have 10 000 years of fighting experience.

"You are not bad. I can't believe you are still standing." (Opponent)

"You too. Your skills is not bad but I think I can defeat you." (MC)

The fight continues and I changed my fighting style to overwhelm him.

What is happening? Why It seems like he is winning. I can't accept this. (Opponent)

After few more moves, I finally land a critical hit on him. He was defeated and unconscious. (MC)

The winner is Mei Kao!!!

Every audience cheered. The Lu Chen and the rank 1st didn't use their remaining fight because they are happy with their rank.

The test is done and I received 5 million kinas because of my rank 3 and 1 million worth of spiritual stones and potions are given to all of us. The school really wants to help their students to be stronger for the tournament.
