Aether and the old woman appeared within the protective array before the front door of the house.
The night was dark. Dark clouds had gathered in the sky, and a strong wind blew, shaking the trees.
Rumble!
Thunder rumbled in the distance, and occasionally, lightning flashed across the sky within the dark clouds, lighting up the whole sky.
The lights were on inside the house.
"Aghhhh!"
A scream came from inside the house.
Aether's heart shook.
Swoosh!
He ran inside the house while the old woman's floating body followed him.
"Aghhhh!" Linda screamed again.
As Aether's eyes fell on Linda, he froze and felt pain in his chest.
She lay on the sofa, tears rolled down her eyes as she trembled. Her whole body was drenched in sweat.
Unconsciously, Aether released the spiritual energy around the old woman, and she landed on the floor.
