An Old Enemy

"Give up," Damian said with a wide, satisfied smile. They stopped attacking her for a second but still surrounded her. "The forest is the territory of my beast. In the forest, I am unbeatable," He spoke, panting.

 "Hmph!" Chloe smirked, panting as well. "Unbeatable? If it was a wild wood spirit that could enter the berserk state, then it would be troublesome. But just this?"

She looked at Damian with mockery in her eyes. "Just you? Don't ever dream of beating me."

"Then what if you add us!" A voice echoed throughout the night. 

Swoosh!

Boom!

A large, spinning ball flew from the forest above, crushing at Chloe.

In the last second, she escaped.

Dust arose as a large crater appeared where the spinning ball landed. At the place where Chloe stood just a second ago.

She landed a few meters back and immediately looked at the ball that crushed into the ground.

It was a stone ball with stone spikes in the center of the crater.
