A Week Later (2)

In the blink of an eye, over a week passed.

Alden refused to attend classes. He spend his days simply. When Neo and Owen left for classes, he would go to the training rooms and refine potions. 

After refining the four potions for the day, he would practice martial arts until his body gave in.

Chloe, Neo, and Owen were worried. A few times, they had to go and get Alden from the training rooms. He had trained his body so hard that he could not return to his room alone.

He refined all the ingredients he had into potions. He has become proficient in using the furnace and controlling the flames. He had a 70% success rate in refining the potions. With all the ingredients, he refined around 28 potions and 12 failures. But those failures were because he was experimenting with the flames and the furnace. Out of those twelve failed attempts, he learned a lot.
