Four days had passed in the blink of an eye, leaving only one day before the highly anticipated annual challenge.
Li Chen had spent this entire time secluded within the legacy treasure space, honing his abilities and practicing his flame blade technique.
Although he had yet to fully master the skill, Li Chen had certainly made considerable progress. The blade could now maintain a solid form, but its power had diminished to the point where it could barely pierce through the hide of a feeble wild beast. Li Chen's current objective was to enhance its potency.
However, on this particular day, Li Chen found himself neither within the legacy tower nor in his room.
He sat atop a modest mountain, surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees. The view was simply breathtaking.
