Chapter 33. The medicine pavilion.

As Li Chen made his way deeper into the Southern District of Verdantmist City, he finally caught sight of the Medicine Pavilion's building.

It stood with three levels, the majority of business was conducted on the ground and first floors. To ascend to the second level, one had to either be a frequent patron, having completed many transactions at the Medicine Pavilion or have earned its recognition. However, those who visited the second floor were not ordinary individuals by any means.

Regarding the third floor, very few had the privilege of setting foot there. Aside from the Medicine Pavilion's envoys and some senior alchemists, only the most esteemed customers, the VVIPs, were granted access. Such individuals typically held high status, perhaps as the leader of a powerful clan or sect from a nearby city.

With a soft sigh, Li Chen turned and made his way to a store close by.
