Season Two: Chapter Twenty Eight (Part II)

Four months into pregnancy...

Lia rushed into the bathroom the moment her lips touched the food that Roane had prepared for her. Lucas shared a worried look with Roane and followed Lia into the bathroom. She was kneeling in front of the toilet bowl, hugging it as he had his morning sickness.

"Are you alright, Lia?" Lucas asked, patting on the woman's back.

Lia waved her hand up, unable to make a response.

"Should we get the doctor to attend to you?" Lucas asked once more.

Once sure that the morning sickness was over, Lia shook her head as she mumbled, "I'm fine."

"I am fine, Lucas!" Lia snapped, slapping the man's hand away, but was soon regretted her action, "I didn't..."

Lucas sighed, placing his hands on her shoulders to give them a squeeze. "I know, don't worry. You are just temperamental because of the pregnancy. "
