Priest's point of view:
Daemon was a boy with great talent with magic, he already wielded 3 elements which was already quite rare, most humans wielded a maximum of 2 elements. He would teach him everything he could, Damial, his son had told him that Daemon had never practiced magic, he assumed that the boy could be a prodigy in magic.
His eyes narrowed for a moment, remembering the moment Daemon staggered, gripped by a sudden headache. In the blink of an eye, he felt a presence so evil and powerful that it made his skin crawl. Priest had faced countless threats, even legendary-level monsters alongside his companions, but this presence dwarfed everything he had experienced before. He knew it couldn't be his imagination. He forced himself to calm down. How was it possible that this boy was linked to something like that?
He took a deep breath and, with a calmer mind, focused on Erika's training. With every swing of her sword, she displayed impressive skill, for although she had only trained Erika, she knew that Damian was also growing in skill. He was an incredible healer, almost equaling his mother in healing prowess. He was proud of his children and how they were excelling in their respective areas of expertise. With a slight smile, Priest continued to supervise the training, confident that they were prepared to face any challenge that presented itself.
With Daemon:
When he arrived home, one of the mansion's servants informed him that his parents were waiting for him in the office, a room they used for important meetings. Daemon didn't know what they wanted to talk about, but he went to see them.
When he arrived, he sat in front of them and his father began the conversation: "Daemon, we have spoken with Lyana, she is a former student at Valeria's Academy, so that she can recommend you so you can enter without having to pass any test." He remembered that the previous Daemon had told his parents that he wanted to attend that academy.
"Lyana has agreed to recommend you, so you will be able to enter without problems. Classes will begin in six months. We hope that you will prepare and know that we will support you in everything," his father continued. Daemon thoughtfully replied, "I know I said I wanted to enter Valeria's Academy, but the main goal wasn't to get stronger.
He simply wanted to follow Lumia and not leave her alone. But these days I have changed my mind. I want to go to another academy." His parents looked at him with a raised eyebrow. He suspected that they knew that the only reason he wanted to go to Valeria's academy was because of Lumia. They asked him: "What other academy do you want to go to? Valeria's Academy is the best on this continent."
"I want to go to the Heavenly Wind Academy, on the continent of Aéris," Daemon said. His parents looked at him with concern. "Daemon, are you crazy?" said his mother. "Aéris is on another continent, what do you think? You won't be close to us and you could be in danger," she added with a scolding tone. His father looked at him seriously and said: "Daemon, tell me the reason why you want to go to that academy."
Daemon replied, "While Valeria Academy is very prestigious, I think Heavenly Wind Academy is better for me. I am interested in learning about the continent of Aéris and also expanding my horizons. I have read quite a bit about that academy and it has an excellent reputation." "Also, today I learned about the elements to which I have an affinity and one of them is air. It would be good for me to have a master of air magic and on the continent of Aeris there are the best."
His parents looked at him and said: Congratulations, son! The magic of the air is incredible!
Well not only do I have an affinity for Daemon continuous air magic, I have an affinity for 2 more. They looked at him skeptically when he mentioned having an affinity for two other elements. You have an affinity with three elements! They said excitedly. "What are the others?" his father asked.
Although his face remained serious, his eyes revealed the emotion he felt at that moment. Daemon felt something warm inside him, a new sensation for him. Calmly, he smiled and replied, "Water and fire." His mother hugged him, expressing her joy. "We are very proud of you, son," his father said. Daemon knew they were genuine, they loved him with all his heart.
He swore to himself to protect them. "Then you will go to the Heavenly Wind Academy," his father continued. "But you will go with Lyana and there is no discussion," he added firmly. His mother nodded approvingly. "Lyana is your teacher and she will be watching over you. Also, don't forget to write to us and visit us whenever you can," she finished. Her mother, she was about to cry, and Daemon tried to comfort her: "Oh, come on mom, I'm still 6 months away."
After some scolding and promises that he would visit them whenever he could, his father agreed and his mother calmed down.
When he headed to his room, he thought: "Actually, I want to stay away from all the main characters that will be in Valeria's Academy. I don't want to get involved with them, mainly because I don't want to die. The protagonist Arthur, Lumia and two other heroines will be there, and it was also in that academy where they killed the previous Daemon." With those thoughts, he came to his room, took a bath with hot water, one of the things he loved most about this new world, and went to sleep.
