Battle in the forest

In the dense forest, the trio of Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto sprinted through the trees, heading in the direction of the outpost. Sasuke, leading the way, suddenly came to a halt, signaling for Sakura and Naruto to stop with him. As they gathered, a mysterious figure emerged before them.

The chuunin, wearing a wry smile, offered a half-hearted apology, instructing them to blame their teacher for what was about to transpire. 

"Sorry about it,you can only blame your teacher " At this; The trio exchanged glances, a mix of curiosity and apprehension in their eyes. Sensing the tension in the air, Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura stood back to back, drawing their weapons in unison.

As the mysterious figure approached, Sasuke, unable to contain his excitement, impulsively lunged forward, his eyes flashing with bloodlust. The clash of blades ensued as Sasuke engaged in a rapid and fierce confrontation with the chuunin. Sakura and Naruto, sensing the intensity, called out to Sasuke, urging him to reconsider his impulsive actions.

"Sasuke-kun, be careful! We don't even know what we're dealing with!"

"Yeah, Sasuke! Don't play only by yourself you asshole !"

Sasuke, focused on the battle, remained silent, determined to test his skills against the mysterious chuunin. The air crackled with anticipation as the confrontation unfolded, leaving the outcome uncertain.

After a brief yet intense exchange of blows, the Chuunin swiftly disengaged from Sasuke, somersaulting away and creating distance. With calculated speed, he executed a set of hand seals, calling out the name of a genjutsu that targeted the trio.

"Genjutsu : Narakumi ! " The world around them seemed to morph and twist, illusions playing tricks on their senses.

Reacting quickly, both Sasuke and Sakura recognized the genjutsu, performing the release seal. In a synchronized effort, they pulled Naruto back from phantom tendrils seeking to ensnare them. Sakura injected a surge of chakra into Naruto, rousing him from the illusion-induced stupor. As he blinked back to awareness, confusion etched across his face, the trio realized they had narrowly escaped the genjutsu trap. 

" Kai ! "

"Wha—--- What the hell did happen ?! " 

The Chuunin, realizing that he couldn't quickly capture them, resorted to a strategic retreat. He hurled a smoke bomb to obscure their vision and vanished into the thick cover of the forest, leaving the three Genin on edge, fully aware that this encounter was just the beginning of a series of challenges orchestrated by their enigmatic sensei.

Sakura,looking worried,told Sasuke that they need to make sure to not waste too much time,and that delivering the scroll is priority

"Sasuke-kun, we can't lose too much time ! ,we need to avoid too much engagement! "

Sasuke,hearing her,gave an annoyed sound "tsk" But still understood where his priorities lay,and agreed to her 

"What is your opinion ? "

"Leave it to naruto ! " 

Insinuating that this time naruto can be of great help.

"We can use Naruto clones to shield our backs,and find a good opportunity to get to the ending line ! "

Looking determined,she added 

"Sasuke-kun,we count on you to be our sword! "

Getting a nod from the latter. Naruto,also hearing his name,gave a smirk after understanding his part in Sakura plan.

As Team 7 cautiously moved through the dense forest, they became acutely aware of the possibility of pursuit. The atmosphere was thick with tension, and every rustle of leaves or snap of a twig heightened their senses. Sasuke took the lead, his eyes, scanning the surroundings for any signs of movement. 

The forest seemed to close in around them, amplifying the sense of being watched. Kakashi's previous warning about adapting to the unexpected echoed in their minds.

Suddenly, a barrage of shuriken sliced through the air, heading straight for the team. Sasuke's quick reflexes allowed him to deflect them all, while Sakura and Naruto dodged the rest, deflecting some. The Chuunin, still hidden, seized the opportunity to strike, launching another volley of kunai from an unseen vantage point.

Sakura, demonstrating her honed skills, used her kunai, deflecting the incoming projectiles. Naruto,quick on his feet, evaded with nimble acrobatics,summoning some clones to shield Sakura,all in a square formation. Sasuke, analyzing the trajectory of the attacks, sensing the general direction of their assailant. 

'Where is he…' 

"There ! " 

Detecting the subtle cues in the trajectory of the attacks, he swiftly assessed the best course of action. Without hesitation, Sasuke made a decisive move, leaping toward the perceived location of their foe.

As Sasuke closed in, he found himself face-to-face with the Chuunin orchestrating the ambush. The forest became an arena for a furious exchange of blows, with Sasuke's lightning-fast strikes countered by the Chuunin's nimble moves. The clash of weapons echoed through the trees as the two engaged in a high-stakes battle.

Naruto, strategically utilizing his Kage Bunshin, unleashed another swarm of clones to support Sasuke. The clones, indistinguishable from the original, surrounded the Chuunin, creating a whirlwind of movement and confusion. Each clone attacked with great energy, overwhelming the enemy with sheer numbers.

The Chuunin,while surprised at Naruto ability,was the kind most proficient in stealth. He kept evading while killing the fragile clones,and continued to exploit the cover of the foliage, disappearing and reappearing at unpredictable intervals,to sasuke and naruto frustration.

"This guy is so annoying ! " 

Hiding in the shadows, the chuunin man kept launching surprise attacks, testing Team 7's ability to stay vigilant and adapt to the ever-changing battlefield. The combination of shuriken, kunai, and Genjutsu kept the team on their toes, each member relying on their unique skills to counter the relentless assaults,with Naruto making sure there are enough clones to hide their trace while running ,keeping the enemy confused.

Sakura, quick to recognize the need for a strategic diversion, swiftly pulled out a smoke bomb from her ninja pouch. As the Chuunin was momentarily blinded by the thick veil of smoke, she urged Naruto to create more clones. 

"Kage Bunshin no jutsu ! " "Henge ! " 

The clones, skillfully transformed to mimic the appearances of the real Team 7, added a layer of confusion to the chaotic battlefield.

The Chuunin, faced with multiple identical groups, analyzed the situation but soon noticed one group running in a direct line toward the outpost. Realizing it could be the authentic Team 7, he made the decision to give chase. 

"You guys are too obvious ! " 

The disguised clones, along with the real Naruto, sprinted away from the smoke-covered area, leading the Chuunin on a pursuit after them.

Unbeknownst to them, his cunning trap lay ahead. Team 7, running towards the outpost with determination, unknowingly approached the concealed pitfall. As they neared the finish line, the forest floor gave way beneath them, and they plummeted into a hidden hole filled with nets,getting trapped in turn. 

The Chuunin, having anticipated their escape route, stood at the edge of the pit, expressing a sense of regret. 

"That's it,you done for " 

He calmly informed Team 7 that their journey had reached its conclusion. The Genin, caught in the intricately laid trap, looked up with a mixture of frustration and realization that their adversary had outmaneuvered them.

Naruto yelling out " Dammit ! I can't believe we fell for this trap ! "

Narisawa,smiling,told him "Unlucky of you "

The forest, once filled with the sounds of battle, now held an eerie silence as Team 7 found themselves ensnared in the nets, their mission scroll still clutched tightly in Sakura's hands.

Narisawa, having successfully manipulated the course of the confrontation, stood over them with a triumphant yet apologetic demeanor. 

"Sorry guys,that was an amazing resistance,but it's over for you. Time to take you back to Kakashi-senpai "

Narisawa, having believed he had successfully trapped Team 7, was taken aback when he noticed all three Genin wearing confident smiles. The sudden shift in atmosphere made him uneasy. Suddenly freezing,he leaped away to dodge the shuriken aimed at him, Not seeing invisible wire tightening around him,binding him in place,it was Sasuke. Not even a moment later, a barrage of Naruto clones emerged from the surrounding trees, capturing him. They held him in a firm grip, rendering him unable to move or escape from his binding.

"We got you ! Haha ! " As the clones jubilantly announced their success, Sakura materialized, swiftly weaving hand signs.

"Genjutsu : Narakumi no jutsu ! "

In an instant, a genjutsu enveloped the Chuunin, casting an illusion where the sky turned a foreboding shade of red. Despite his attempts to resist, he found himself biting his lips to break free from the illusion, only to discover that this time, the trio added ropes which were tightening around his hand, stopping from making seals.

The combined efforts of Team 7, blending clones, genjutsu and wires,showed excellent strategic coordination, and had turned the tide of the battle in their favor. The captured Chuunin, now restrained and unable to escape, faced the consequences of underestimating the resourcefulness of the Genin team.

"I can't believe i lost to genin..those guys won't leave me alone now.." 

Narisawa, heaving a resigned sigh, acknowledged Team 7's victory. 

"Naruto,keep some clones with him,let go ! " 

The triumphant trio left Naruto clones in charge of the captured Chuunin, who stood there with a mix of depression and slight panic. 

"Hey ! Come on ! Dont leave me here ! " 

As they departed to finally deliver the scrolls, Naruto clones mischievously revealed a set of pen markers, prompting Narisawa to comically panic.

"Hehehe…now you look less confident right ?! " 

As the Naruto clones surrounded Narisawa, he pleaded, "Come on, guys, we're in the same village,all good guys, right? " 

The clones, sporting mischievous grins, seemed impervious to his pleas. One of them brandished a pen marker menacingly, while others snickered.

Narisawa, realizing the impending trouble, attempted to reason with them. "You don't have to do this! I was just following orders. Kakashi-senpai!"

A particularly cheeky clone retorted, "Orders, you say? Well, we've got orders too—creative punishment orders!"

Narisawa, now looking comically panicked, started yelling Kakashi's name in a desperate plea for rescue. 

"Kakashi-senpai !!!! " 

The clones, undeterred, began their pen-marker onslaught, leaving the scene filled with chaotic laughter and Narisawa's protests echoing through the forest.

Meanwhile, the original Team 7 arrived at the outpost, finding Kakashi patiently waiting. 

Kakashi greeted Team 7 with an air of nonchalance. "Ah, you're back. How did it go?" he inquired, his eye crinkling in amusement.

Sakura, still indignant, shot back, "You said it was a normal mission! This was anything but normal!"

Naruto, grumbling, added, "Yeah, sensei, what's with all the surprises?"

Kakashi, maintaining his calm demeanor, replied, "A good ninja adapts to the unexpected. Consider it an essential skill."

"And i didnt see sasuke complaining "

Sasuke only gave him a humpf,told him that as long as he get stronger he doesn't care.

Sakura and Naruto exchanged deadpan glances, realizing that navigating Kakashi's unconventional training was indeed an unexpected adventure in itself,still a way of training.

Kakashi, noticing the absence of Narisawa, raised an inquisitive eyebrow. "Where's Narisawa?"

Sakura, with a hint of mischief, replied, "We left him in the capable hands of Naruto clones."

Naruto, suddenly finding the leaves on the ground incredibly fascinating, avoided making eye contact with his sensei.

Kakashi, his expression shifting from curiosity to a mild sense of pity, sighed internally. *Poor Narisawa. He's probably regretting signing up for this mission.* Outwardly, he maintained his calm demeanor. "Well, let's hope he survives it. I'll check on him later."

Sakura couldn't help but chuckle at Kakashi's response, while Naruto shuffled his feet awkwardly. The trio,now done,started going back to the village. As they continued their journey back, the forest echoed with laughter, both real and imagined, leaving the fate of Narisawa hanging in the balance.
