The Laws of Karma 06

Reen stared at her without any expression on her pale face. She walked in front of her, no one stopping her from doing so. She held her arms out and roughly pulled Lilith's chin to face her.

Lilith whose eyes were swelling because of her continual crying and beating were filled with fear as she stared at Reen's clear and cold eyes.

The group merely stood behind and surrounding them not moving at all but were attentively staring at them. They were not afraid of the vile monster but they just wanted to be extra careful just in case the cheap sl*t still had a few tricks hidden within her.

"I'm s-sorry please let me go… I promise I won't disturb you any more or plot against you ever again." She begged helplessly

Reen smirked yet again as she coldly stared at her, making Lilith even more scared seeing this somewhat crazed smile. Her eyes were so black that her own soul seems to be sucked in it, unable to escape and to be trapped forever in an endless black abyss.

"When my mother and brother beg you to let them off… Did you?" She sneered.

Lilith could not say anything back but her tears continued to pour from her eyes as her remaining teeth chattered in fear.

"When they beg you to spare the other did you let them off? Did you spare them?!" She started shouting.

She could not stop the outburst of her emotions. She glared fiercely at her. Lilith who was very scared continued to stare at her hate filled eyes. Like a mouse being looked upon by a snake, even though she didn't want to look anymore but Reen's intense gaze and tight grip on her chin locked her in place.

Reen glared at her hatefully; because of her excessive rage and negative emotions she had puked blood.

In instinct, instead of spewing it on Lilith's face she had unconsciously released her hold on Lilith's chin to cover her mouth with both hands. But the blood still escaped from the partings of her fingers spraying and flowed continually out of her hands onto the floor.

"Reen!" they shouted in union as they went beside her while her subordinates froze and stared at her filled with shocked. Uoron took out his white handkerchief and meticulously wiped the blood from her hand.

"I'm fine." She said but was completely ignored by Uoron and the rest.

Mirly who was a bit too late in cleaning her hand took out her own handkerchief and wiped the blood from her mouth frowning with obvious concern at the stubborn lass while doing so.

Lilith seeing this could not conceal the trace of joy that passed through her once dead eyes at Reen's misfortune.

After making sure that all the blood was thoroughly wiped out, the frowns from Uoron, Hue, Wisteria and Mirly did not ease at all despite the repetitive reassurance of Reen.

The frozen subordinate once again retained their stoic expressions.

Knowing that all her reassurance will be for naught she focus herself once again towards the joy filled Lilith. Knowing that Reen still needed to do what she ought to do the people surrounding her retreated a step back once more.

Uoron staring at the now red colored handkerchief and clenching it tightly, he looked up and stared with 100% concentration at Reen. He was completely ignoring the trembling Lilith while the others giving half their attention on Reen and half on the foul woman.
