Softly splashing water droplets hit the car windows as the black Cadillac drove onwards. The skies were overhung with a blanket of grey, so much so that one could barely tell the difference between the sky and clouds. Blue eyes drew away from the foliage of grey, instead choosing to settle onto the raindrops racing each other down her window as she flipped her high pony behind her shoulder.

The raindrops' paths seemed intertwined and never-ending, reminding her of a certain calamity as Cassidy continued to stare out of the car.

Usually, the brunette teenager would love to engage in a conversation with her sister as she glanced at passing cars. The occasional wave of a puddle would bring forth a feeling of excitement as she'd rather be outside in those puddles than stuck in the car.
