Ch 36: Final Confrontation

Dren's voice broke through the tension. "Remember your roles! Stay together, and watch each other's backs. We take them out one at a time. Elysia, wait for my signal before you unleash your spells!"

The pack of wolves charged, their snarls and growls echoing in the stillness of the forest. Dren felt his heart race, the thrill of battle igniting his senses. "Now!" he shouted, and the fight began.

Korrin and Jarek moved forward, their shields forming an impenetrable wall against the first wave of wolves. Dren and Tharn flanked them, striking out with sword and axe, the sound of steel clashing against claws filling the air.

Elysia unleashed her first spell, a blast of Fire that struck two wolves, burning them and deal massive amounts of damage. The wolves howled in fury, their eyes wide with shock, but the pack quickly regrouped, relentless in their assault.
