The evil spirit of my ex boyfriend is haunting me

It felt like Déjà vu, waking up with sore muscles and feeling as if the life had been drained out of me. Exhaustion was the only thing remaining within me. When I shifted, I realized there was an IV drip attached to my left hand and only then I could conclude that I was in the hospital.

A tremendous amount of distress filled me for still being able to breathe. I didn't want to get up and continue to fight the battle that I could never win.

"How are you?" Charlotte's worried voice reached my ears but I gave her no response.

Jungkook was also beside her with his eyes red and puffy while an unfamiliar man in a uniform was in the doorway observing me with keen eyes.

"Why would you even save me? I want to die" My nightmare hadn't ended and without even realizing I blurted those words out.

I turned away from them and began cursing my life. My family and friends were killed and the only person I was living my life for had abandoned me so there was nothing I could look forward to in this lifetime.

Jungkook hastened over to the side I was facing and cupped my face shaking his head.

"Don't say that please, whatever is bothering you we will fight it together" his lips trembled as he brought them closer to my head and placed a tender kiss.

I wish I could respond to him with some sort of courage but at that point, I had already given up. There was no winning this thing. Whatever this was it was beyond my strength to handle

"Tia, he is my boyfriend Yoongi, he is an officer can you tell him what had happened so that we can help you" When Charlotte explained the reason for the pale looking guy's presence, I craned my neck toward the officer and claimed with no shame.

"the evil spirit of my ex boyfriend is hunting me, can you help me?" I was straight forward and the officer looked at me as if I was stating something ridiculous.

Even Charlotte seemed to be taken aback by my words but she didn't try to correct me or voice out her thoughts.

"I am sure there is a misunderstanding ma'am but whatever the cause is, we will get to its root" For some weird reason his words made be hopeful.

Maybe there was a way I could fight back. I had to gather my courage and atleast try to face it for once.

I thanked him for his effort and sunk back in my bed while Officer Min talked with the doctor and filled my discharge paper.

Jin had rushed down to visit me, when the hospital contact him for being my psychiatrist and discussed about me with officer Min for hours.

As per the my doctor, I simply had passed out because of my stress. Surprisingly all my test were clear meaning the doctors assured that I wasn't sexually assaulted however the persistent ache in my core was telling me something else.

After some therapy session, Jin even offer to ride us to Jungkook's home because apparently, it was best for me not to go to my apartment for now.

Charlotte revealed that she and Jungkook were just in front of my apartment when she had called me to check up on me for skipping my classes, therefore, they could reach in time to prevent the disaster from happening.

"The mirror was shattered, the blood was all over the basin was blood, seeing you so lifeless, I thought we lost you " Charlotte was explaining how they had to rescue me while my brain twirled around the last fragment of my memory before I passed out.

I couldn't help but compare it with the event that had happened in the night of gathering. As if that was the sign of what was coming for me in the future.

My mind then drifted towards the one person who I hadn't heard from since yesterday and agony cramped all of my internal organs.

"Does Jimin know I was in the hospital?"

My heart constricted even at his name and the tears were already forming in the corner of my eyes.

"Well, we don't have his number so..." Jungkook trailed off and I nodded my head understanding what he wanted to say.

"I will call him and inform" Jin suggested but I requested him not to do so.
