Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor. 40. First Dungeon

Silas walked around the Grand library of techniques as he found other resources. He noticed that they also sold body enhancement items and he went over to look at them.

'Hm. These are all body enhancement items, I don't really know much about these.' Silas thought as he looked through all the items there.

100 year old ginseng, Frozen lake hibiscus, earth turtle water lily...

'The first floor indeed has more valuables than the bottom floor.' Silas was amazed and then he looked around in amazement.

They went as high as the third floor where they will need about a million to even qualify to enter and the group went ahead to pick out techniques.

After the entire thing they left the store and they headed out of the city. They didn't go too deep into the city in the first place, it was a very big place after all.

"Okay, I would love to go learn this technique immediately but as Silas is here, I was thinking we should do some dungeon runs and rake in those spirit cores," Lara said and both Prince and Silver agreed.

"Yeah, we would love to see what you're capable of," Silver said then Silas smiled as they made their way towards a dungeon.

They walked through the forest outside of the empire and went ahead while looking for where there were monsters.

It didn't take more than thirty minutes for them to finally find a small cave which goes into the ground and they all smiled...except for Silas.

"What is that?" He asked and the others looked at him.

"You haven't gone into a dungeon before?" Prince asked and Silas shook his head.

"But... But that's the best place to grow stronger... How exactly did you grow your strength?" Prince asked with a confused expression and then Silas smiled with them.

"Well, I do have a special physique I use to cultivate." He said and they believed him.

"Well..." Lara was the first to enter into the dungeon and Prince followed behind as he jumped in before Silver followed.

Silas looked around the surroundings and after they went in and then he furrowed his brows as he gazed at the dungeon one more time.

It was a hole in the ground which was filled with a purple liquid-like energy which swirled around the surface, it was ominous, but again, it held a lot of possibilities within.

'Well, why not?' Silas then jumped into it and then it felt like he was submerged in water and he was being pulled to the bottom.

His instincts were to try to swim upwards but then he didn't want to.

His legs were the first to exit the water and then his entire body. He was flipped upside down and then he opened his eyes to see himself in another seperate space.

It was just like another paradise which was different from the heavens.

He looked at the ground behind him to see the portal and then he sighed as he went forward to find the people that he came with.

He soon found the trio of players and went towards them.

"Hm?" He noticed that they were all looking down towards a slope which led into a large pit and he looked into a pit to see a group of creatures munching on a very beautiful flower.

"How lucky are we guys?" Silver asked with a wide smile as he stared at the flowers greedily.

"If we are able to take all of those, we would be able to sponsor our growth before the sects start recruiting students again," Prince said and then Silas observed.

"What are those flowers? They radiate a very... Sweet scent." Silas said and then Prince furrowed his brows.

"Those are luminescent flowers. They are used by alchemists to purify their pills and potions when they make them. And for cultivators, their rich in clearing the meridians for a better cultivation experience," He explained and then Silas nodded.

"Plus, we can even sell them to an alchemist sect but they're on another continent. So we'll have to sell it to one of the sects on the human continent," Silver said and then Silas nodded with them.

"If this is something like a dungeon, then there supposed to be a boss or something like that," Silas said and Prince smiled as he quickly caught on.

"Indeed, but we can't find it anywhere. These strange lizard-like creatures are feeding on the flowers, we would have to take them out quickly," Lara said and then brought out a long spear.

Silver brought out a long sword and the bulky prince pulled out a broad sword. Silas looked at their weapons they were only sky grade.

'They seem to not be too strong but they look confident in defeating this hoarde of creatures.' Silas thought and then he pulled out the Abyssal reckoner.

The items are graded from mortal grade to forbidden grade.

Mortal grade items don't have any special properties or more but then from spirit grade and above, the weapons would have special attributes able to be sharper and allow for a natural flow of qi.

The nine grades goes as follows; Mortal, spirit, sky, demon, heaven, sacred, immortal, celestial and forbidden.

His abyssal reckoner right now was an immortal grade weapon. He only had this privilege cause of he was playing as the reincarnation of an old devil.

He glanced at the blade which had a skull on the hilt and then at the black blade which seemed like it held an endless galaxy within.

He looked up at the creatures and then he charged forward, jumping into the pit. The chi coming out of his body suddenly wrapped him completely and his speed increased.

Seeing Silas moving, the trio behind him went along with him and headed towards the strange lizard people.

Silas gazed at them. They had large bodies and they stood on two legs, seeming like a mix of an alligator and a gorilla.

"There are two spirit masters amongst the horde, be careful!" Prince said as he took note of the lizard men who had symbols, like tattoos on their bodies.

Silas went forward and breathed, his facets were really kicking in every time and he felt extremely calm.

He dodged a fist swung towards him and sliced the arm off of the lizard man's body.
