Looking at Old Madam Brown who was always kind to her, Jocelyn smiled sweetly. Her smile was so healing that it made Old Madam Brown's heart melt.
"I asked the kitchen to prepare some snacks like pudding, cheese sticks, and chocolate balls that you young people like. Do you want to try them?"
Old Madam Brown put out her hand to invite Jocelyn.
In her opinion, Jocelyn was too skinny. She even wondered if Jocelyn would be blown away by the wind when she went out on a windy day.
To Old Madam Brown, the thin and weak Jocelyn was like a kitten that needed help and feeding.
Though Old Madam Brown's hand was covered in wrinkles and age spots, when Jocelyn held it, she felt inexplicably peaceful. Even though she was not hungry now, Jocelyn could not say no.
Looking at Jocelyn nod, Old Madam Brown smiled even more happily.
