The door opened and the guard that had left walked in with another one following him closely behind.
They both greeted the king with a bow before they stood erect and gazed into the distance.
"He said you saw something the day that... that the queen came to my chambers," Yianni said to the guard that the previous guard had said saw something the day Guust and the queen came to his chambers.
"What did you see? Tell me everything. Do not be scared of repercussions or whatever you may be thinking," Yianni said as he thought about Dyon and what she could do if she found out that one of the guards spoke to the king. He was already sensing foul play but the worst he thought could happen was that the queen had told Guust not to show his face around since he was the only one who must have witnessed what she did to him to make him lose time the way he did.
