Thress was looking at Mabli with an endearing look and Mabli had to use all her strength to avoid gagging. He irritated her but she guessed that he didn't see it because he had not asked her for one day why her face looked like she was about to puke. Mabli didn't know what she would reply to that question if he asked her -- she thought that the puke would eventually come out if he did.
Mabli remained quiet and waited for Thress to get on with why he had summoned her to his chambers. She took a quick glance around, to check if there were any whips around, or if he had arranged something new to use on her this time. He had always surprised her with those and she had gotten used to the twisted mind and nature of Thress that he didn't surprise her anymore.
