Learning to be a Fish

I was transported to a big hall where shelves of books were ordered to the sides and in the center was a rectangular table with many chairs. I decide to check the magic tool in the sheves and introduced the words: hunting, history, geographic, plants. The search was 543 books I was impressed for the efficiency. I select the first two books in the list : plants and animals. The books materialized and I sit in the big table.

" Travis can you compress the information in the books in files"

" yes, the only limitation is one page at the time for now"

I spend my two hours compiling information from the books in topics. I hear Travis said

I was surprised with the gains.

I returned to Elder Sun and gave thanks with a bow , requesting if I could come everyday for the next month.

" you can come , but only for 2 hours and the time should be very early in the morning "

I feel so tired , walking home I decide to try the respiratory technique of the old tattered book, It was easy to learn because was a diafragmatic tech that boost lung expansion changing pulmonary pressures. I repeat the cycle of exercises and breathing until I hear a several knots in the door and a voice that I recognize as Aria.

I took a minute to stabilize my body and mind and decide to go to the kitchen , Elien was a little sad with signs of crying , dinner was black breath and boiled potatoes with milk.

" Mom , something happend to Aria in the school"

"No, just that we will have reduce again our food by order of the principal manager, no meat any more in tomorrow's delivery"

" Mom , don't worry I will hunt some birds and fish in the river, soon"

I was eating thinking in how to hunt and the desire to become strong fast.

I finish fast and decide to take a bath and think in the future , I used to practice cuban Boxing wih mix arts since I was a kid until college and I decide to create a exercise schedule , I will practice boxing until I get any better martial combat.

I went to my room and decide to do boxing shadow with a candle. I start with some straight hits, advancing and retreating with 3 combinations hit . Every time that tiredness reappeared I went to breathing cycles and continue until I developed a 8 hit combination with uppercut, jab, cross and hook integrated.

I was satisfied with the hard work and I realize that the sun was elevating in the horizon, I did a breathing cycle and preprare to go the library , Elien was awake already.

"Good morning mom, i am going to the library"

I took a black bread and decide to run to the library. I heard Elien voice in the distance.

" Have a great day and be safe, return home at 1030 "

Today uncle Towen will delivery the goods, I arrive library and performed my greetings to Elder Sun spend my two hours compiling information about general topics with travis who's system become faster with my stats increse.

I abandon the library and went running to the bambu forest close to the outer layers of Everlasting green forest where I took a hollow thin bambu and some thorns of the spine tree , with some wild cotton, later i looked for the flower of the innocence that hat anesthetic properties. I went to the river bank and decide to set a fish trap creating a mud hole with one open and covering with plants for shadow. I cover and erase any track and decide to return home to help Elien. I arrive and went directly to my room .I worked in a blowgun creating dards with the thorns , wild cotton and tying with parts of my tunic. I macerrate the flowers and. the juice was collected in a small metal cup where i soaked the dards. I practice the shooting with my pillow looking for imperfections in the trayectory of the dart until I decide to wait for uncle Towen outside. Elien was next to me sitting waiting looking at the distance. we saw a old man pushing a wodden cart. I stand up and went to help uncle towen.

" uncle let me handle the cart"

Elien give him a cup of water saying.

"Lady Elien is my duty as a servant of the Longheart, I brought the same goods and some cheese, as a compesation for the meat that the manager took away by order of the first wife"

I carried the grains and some potatoes that were assigned to us. I help to push the cart with Uncle Towen for half a mille, because he has another deliveries.

I returned home gave the coin Elien and asked her for the kitchen knife to cut some branchs as excuse. She was reluctant in the begining because was the only knife in the home, but in the end decide to gave it ,whe i promise that will not do any crazy thing, like attack somebody. i took and old bag ,my blowgun with the darts and decide to try luck in the river of the Evergreen forest. I found a plant know a death start that give a strong smell of putrid to covert my smell, i used in my hiddin place in a tree where i have the advantage of the vision and gravity for my dart , I camouflage with plants and mud and decide to wait . I know that when the heat is intense animals will consume water and they would select quite water places to drink.

one hour later my patience paid of, a type of wild pig show in the river bank, I recognize the animal as the fire Jabali boar , very temperamental , with big tusks and massive size. The animal was a young male with a mild size as a young cow. I wait until the beast pass my hidden spot and was drinking. I shot my first dart begging God for my shoot. I hit the back right leg, the beast react looking for the enemy in the back , I shoot my second dart and i missed, I was looking all the time for the anesthetic to kick ,the book said that was fast effect , I see the animal back legs cramp and decide to shot another dart hitting the neck , the boar was arround 210 lb at least , I was happy and decide to go down when i saw it falling completely I took the old knife kitchen and soaked in the anesthetic. I walked behind the board and I took his front right leg and stab the knife hard betwen the articulation and the chest my knee was securing the neck of the board to the ground. The board die in a complete silence. I know that i have to work fast the smell of blood will attract other predators. I pulled the board behind a bushes and open the belly fast taking all the organ out, I put the heart and liver in my bag tied , the front and back legs together and carry the board like a backpack and decide to abandon the area as soon as possible.

always cheking my surroundings I start walking heavy in the direction of home , I avoid all the people and passed the guards post jumping the wall that delimits the outside from the outer circle. I enter the house fast Elien was escare to see my with the beast in my back .

"Aran, what is that?

"Mom , I haunted in the forrest can you help me to empty the table , I need to take the skin and clean the meat"

Elien did everything fast and help me pulling the skin clean with water magic, she had seen this procedure many times when her fathers and brothers hunted.

"Mom we have a lot of meat and the animal skin and tusk can be sold, I am going to the town before become dark to sell.
