Then, the silver Deep-sea Feng Li shot out countless rays off to the ocean, lighting up the seabed. Not only that, they were underwater and water was a great conductor. Thus, in an instant, the vessel's cannons were able to wipe out the ultra beasts' horde in a blink.

Every single ultra beast that surrounded Deep-sea Feng Li was now dead.

Every single life sign that was detected on the scanner was now gone.

After killing the ultra beasts, Deep-sea Feng Li slowly moved forward, pushing the corpses away along the way.

To die in the depths of the ocean was one of the worse because it was close to impossible for anyone to be able to locate your bodies in the sea.

Qin Feng's Deep-sea Feng Li spent three hours to finally arrive at the Abyssal Ocean.

The place was pitch black. They could see nothing but a huge veil of nothingness.

Yet, this was enough to make everyone in the vessel feeling unnerved.

They could not know just how huge the ultra beast that was going to show up was. They could not know where they would attack from.

There was just too much uncertainty.

Some of the D-tier ultra beasts here seemed to emit a presence that was much stronger than the ones on land.

Sun Tianyuan finally could not hold it in anymore.

He knew where he was going. He knew how dangerous it was. If he did not do anything, it would not just be Qin Feng that died… he could die too!

Thus, Sun Tianyuan asked in a shaky voice, "Boss… I've been to this area before. This… this place… it has some really fearsome sea beasts. Perhaps we should head to some other place… somewhere much safer than this?"

Qin Feng took a glance at the man and saw that he was not lying.

The guy was scared stiff.

Qin Feng's conscious energy was very keen. As such, he knew that Sun Tianyuan was Bai Wei's underling. He did not mind him coming along because he believed Sun Tianyuan would not dare to do anything to sabotage this trip.

Everyone in the vessel cried out in surprise!

The Devil Sharks were C8-tier! Each one of these was beast general class.

Even the B-tiers dared not to touch these things. The reason being that these sharks tended to hunt together in a pack. When they detect blood, they would go into a berserk, escalating their attacks!

The scanner started to beep out loud. It was an alarm for detecting strong presence!

The gunners quickly focused all their conscious energy to scan the area.

He Jia was terrified to say the least as she stared at the monitor.

And there it was. They saw it! An enormous silhouette flashed before their eyes!

"It's them!"

"The Devil Sharks!"

"They're here! They're really here!"

"What should we do?!"

They could see just how enormous the Devil Shark was just by looking at the huge black dot on the monitor.

This thing was eight meters in length.

Although Deep-sea Feng Li was two hundred meters long and much bigger than the shark, they knew they were not facing just one of these things. There were a dozen more behind this one shark!

This felt as though a little, juicy lamb had fallen into a wolves' den!

Yet, Qin Feng was calm.

"What should we do? We attack it, of course!"

In a pinch of conscious energy, Qin Feng had pulled the trigger!

Chapter 660: A Face Slap for Bai Wei!

A huge energy ray landed on the Devil Shark, opening up a one-meter wide hole on its head!

Even though the Devil Shark was strong, there was no way it could withstand a direct headshot!

Every single gunner in the vessel was surprised by what they saw.

"What? How?!" He Jia's jaw was literally dropping on the floor.

Qin Feng did not need to even head out to fight them. Just one cannon fire was enough to take out a Devil Shark?

"Well? What are we waiting for, gentlemen? Let the party begin!"

"Huh? Oh, right. Yes, Sir!"

"Aye aye, Sir! Charging up the cannons!"

It did not take long for these gunners to pick themselves up and started wielding the vessel's weaponry. They were as excited as children getting new toys on Christmas.

As for the terrifying, fearsome monstrosity that was terrorizing them earlier? They had now turned into live targets for these gunners.

It was a massacre!

The technology that Qin Feng had allowed him to wipe clean every ultra beast that dared to stand in front of him on land. But he felt that using his weapons on land was a whole lot of waste—because he could just go down and kill them himself.

Feeling the huge tremor from the attack, the gunners' faces turned pale.

A Devil Shark opened its wide jaw, revealing its sharp teeth before munching on the vessel.

The gunners' faces turned even paler than before.

These Devil Sharks were infamous for their destructiveness. They were rumored to be even more powerful than the B-tier ultra beasts on land.

Even if this was the fabled Ocean Phantom, there was no way it could withstand these monsters' fangs!

Voom!!

Suddenly, a layer of golden barrier enveloped Deep-sea Feng Li. As a result, the shark's teeth were not able to sink through the vessel's metallic shell.

"Did… did the vessel just block its bite?"

The gunners were overjoyed after realizing this.

"Hey, don't stop. Keep on attacking!"

Qin Feng ordered as he pulled another trigger, sending a huge electric wave across the waters.

In an instant, the massive Devil Shark flipped over to reveal its stomach—the thing was dead in under a second!

The gunners' blood was boiled in excitement as they kept on shooting and shooting. For an entire thirty minutes, the seabed was lit up with bright energy rays and dyed completely red by the sharks' blood.

Countless Devil Sharks' corpses started to float around as Deep-sea Feng Li was constantly hooking them and hurling them to the surface of the ocean.

Perhaps due to the intense scent of death that was brought by the Devil Sharks' blood, the other sea beasts seemed to not dare to come closer. This meant that Qin Feng and his crew were able to head to the surface without issue.

"Aye aye, Boss!"

Ten gunners quickly rushed to the Devil Sharks' corpses and started to dissect them, keeping only the valuable parts and materials from the beasts—especially the fangs and crystal cores.

As they were harvesting the materials, a deep-sea vessel closed in on their location from underneath—it was Bai Wei's vessel.

"Boss! They're on the surface!"

Of course, they could not rise to the surface. Or else, they would be seen!

"What are they doing? Why are they on the surface?"

"Ah! Boss! It's… It's… Devil Sharks!"

One of the crew members of the vessel cried out in surprise.

Bai Wei's face turned grim immediately. There was no way his vessel could handle the Devil Sharks now.

However, when he checked the monitor, there were no sign of Devil Sharks at all. There was no alarm from the scanner too.

"What the hell? There are no Devil Sharks!"

"No, Boss. I mean. Up there! Next to Deep-sea Feng Li! The Devil Sharks are all dead!"

A gunner had released a drone to the surface to livestream whatever that Qin Feng and his crew were doing. He was shocked when he saw it from the drone's camera.

After realizing that the others could not see what he saw, he quickly linked the drone to the main monitor of the vessel.

Then, Bai Wei finally saw it.

He wanted to claw out his eyeballs and clean them and then looked at the screen again! There was no way this was true! He could not believe his eyes!

However, all the Devil Sharks' corpses had already announced quite clearly what happened earlier.

"How… How in the hell…?!"

Bai Wei wanted to watch Qin Feng make a fool out of himself. As such, he could not wait for him to reach the Devil Sharks' territory.

He wanted to watch Qin Feng get chomped to pieces by these ferocious sharks.

Yet, this was the result. The result that he least expected!

In an instant, he felt that his face was turning as red as a tomato.

Meanwhile, Qin Feng was already done with their material harvesting.

The gunners did not expect to earn so much in their first battle. They thought that Qin Feng would lose everything in this trip; yet, it all turned out differently.

It seemed that they were instead the ignorant rednecks.

"Alright. Let's resume our hunt!"

"Aye aye, Captain!"

Everyone responded to Qin Feng's order with respect.

To them, his title of "captain" was well-earned.

After entering the vessel, Qin Feng took a glance in a certain direction and looked straight at the drone!

"Heh, what a fun bunch!" Qin Feng did not bother to entertain these clowns. They were the ones who wanted to follow him. If they were to suffer some cardiac shock from seeing what he could do, there was no way he was going to pay for their medical bills.

Thus, the Deep-sea Feng Li descended into the ocean again.

In the depths of the sea, these sea beasts were all powerful C-tier monstrosities. Each one of them could kill C-tier aptitude users with ease.

Besides, someone needed to hunt them and clean up the ocean. If they did not do that, there would be waves after waves of sea beasts appearing and multiplying in the ocean. And eventually, they would be swept to the shore, terrorizing the civilians who live at the port.

As he watched Qin Feng's submarine disappear from the sea surface, he shook his head. Bai Wei did not dare to explore an area full of Devil Sharks.

"Why should we? What benefit would I get?"

There was indeed nothing left for him to pluck. As such, Bai Wei decided to turn back. He wondered whether Qin Feng would start manufacturing vessels in the East Sea. If so, he was willing to rent one even if it was expensive. The firepower of the vessel was something to behold.

Qin Feng's vessel continued to wander in the unknown sea. A deep-sea vessel could stay under the sea for half-a-month without the need to replenish. However, Qin Feng did not plan to stay here all day.

Besides, the crew on board was hired at a hefty cost. He would need to replace them once they returned to the shore. Qin Feng did not mind spending the money but he was unwilling to help feed other people's men.

Deep-sea Feng Li rampaged through the rough Abyssal Ocean. The C-tier gunners onboard were spirited and hunted eagerly.

In less than half a day, Qin Feng had earned enough to cover the crew's salary and obtained ample materials.

The vessel resurfaced again with the loots.

Before they were completely out on the sea surface, an alarm began to ring on the scanner.

"It's an SOS signal!"

"There's an unknown vessel detected by the sonar!"

"Sir, I suspect it's the Dark Coalition. What should we do?" The C-tier gunners were nervous.

The vessels of the Dark Coalition were often custom-made and privately owned. As such, their ships were constantly upgraded and perfected. In contrast, deep-sea vessels of other aptitude users were usually rented. As a result, the Dark Coalition's vessels normally had a huge advantage over theirs.

Hence, aptitudes users in the ocean often avoided confrontation with members of the Dark Coalition.

However, right now, they had no other choice but to fight them.

"Are they pirates? Which faction do they belong to?" Qin Feng asked calmly.

Power factions that were active around this ocean were only that few. Qin Feng could count them out with one hand.

One of the crew members acted swiftly and dispatched a waterproof drone. It glided through the sea surface and transmitted the live-feed back to the submarine's display.

Qin Feng's crew immediately recognized the party this submarine belonged to at one glance.

Sun Tianyuan immediately reported, "Master Qin, it's the Sea Devil. They belong to a dark organization named none other than the Sea Devil. It was jointly established by three B-tier aptitude users. At least two B-tiers would be on board every time they are out on the sea. Their leaders are B4-tier ice ability user Chen Sha, B3-tier water ability user Wang Yangying, and B1-tier ancient warrior Yang Qian."

Sun Tianyuan's face turned extremely pale. He was trembling out of fear. The Sea Devil was one of the most frightening pirate groups in this Abyssal Ocean.

Three B-tiers on one vessel was astonishing. They might not earn enough by hunting beasts but it was a different story if they were to hunt and rob other users.

Members of the Dark Coalition were famous for their merciless and cruel nature. There was basically no escape once you bump into them.

"Governor, let's retreat now. Perhaps they still haven't detected us," He Jia said nervously.

The best way out of this was to stay unnoticed and flee as quickly as possible.

Qin Feng frowned and said coldly, "What's there to be afraid of? There are only two B-tiers. Ascend and blast at them!"

"Sir, they will take revenge if we provoke them."

"It's unwise to do so. Guns are just… guns."

Guns could blast beasts easily but were less effective against humans, especially when the opponents also had gunners onboard. The one who would win the shootout depended greatly on the skill level.

While the prey was struggling to escape, it was to Yang Qian's surprise that they had called in reinforcement.

Not only that, but the newly emerged vessel had substantial loot on its tail. They had probably stumbled across their battle by accident.

"Haha, what a lucky day! My crew, take the other vessel down too!" Yang Qin laughed joyfully.

But the next moment, the smile froze on his face. His expression then turned into great shock.

"F*ck!" Yang Qian cursed as he saw a blinding laser flying toward them. The energy carried by the blast was no joke. Yang Qian could sense that its power was strong enough to threaten their lives.

Blitz!

The laser struck the bullseye on the Sea Devil.

The shield of the vessel was turned on at all times. It suddenly lit up brightly as if it was being recharged.

But the radiance dimmed rapidly. In less than a minute, the force field protecting the vessel promptly collapsed!

Only scattered light remained around the shield. The laser continued to tear apart the air and landed on the outer shell of the submarine.

Blitz!

Immediately, the submarine was perforated by the laser. More so, the laser did not disappear before it traveled for another twenty meters.

Boom!

A giant explosion engulfed everything in front of their eyes.

There were a lot of delicate instruments inside the vessel. Qin Feng was indeed aiming for the core of the submarine where most of the machinery was jam-packed.

The explosion was traumatizing. A loud boom shook the sky and the sea. The after impact created sea waves as high as eight to nine meters.

At the same time, the B-tier user on the pinned down Overlord 07, who was preparing to lunge forward and fight, was rooted on the deck. Behind him, his crew cheered uproariously.

"Damn! What was with that blast!? Someone is here to save us!"

The scariest part of all this was the man standing on the tip of the iceberg.

Unfortunately, the man on the Overlord 07 was only a B1-tier wind ability user. His name was Yu Yangtao.

The power gap was obvious.

"We can't run. I am not going to leave the other ship behind. They have just saved us!"

Chapter 662: Where Did He Come From?

As such, Yu Yangtao had little confidence. He was no way near Chen Sha's prowess.

That was not all. The scary explosion was neutralized by Chen Sha with his iceberg. Then, he broke apart the iceberg and turned it into a make-shift boat. Another two powerful auras ascended from underwater.

Both Wang Yangying and Yang Qian were here, too.

Cold sweats began to appear on Yu Yangtao's forehead.

To their horror, Qin Feng had disappeared from the control room.

He Jia was stunned. "Where's Governor Qin?"

Qin Feng had left without saying a word when they needed him the most.

One of the crew members was flustered and shouted, "Where is he? Don't tell me he had run and abandoned us here!"

"Shut up. Look!" Sun Tianyuan yelled back. His sight was fixated on the front window of the vessel. A man was standing proudly outside, on top of the submarine surface.

It was none other than Qin Feng. He had walked out fearlessly.

The crew members gripped their fists tightly, wondering what Qin Feng would do next.

"He wants to challenge B-tiers?"

"How? He is merely a C-tier!"

"It's useless. Should we make a run for it?"

Among them, He Jia was the only one who overturned her doubt into unwavering faith.

"I believe in Governor Qin. He is a man with power beyond our imagination."

The others could hardly agree with her sentiment. "So what? The opponents are B-tiers!"

"Governor Qin might have hidden his true strength. Still, he is C9-tier at best. That's not enough to fight three B-tiers at once. Moreover, we are talking about Chen Sha here!"

Chen Sha, a merciless pirate, a devil in this unforgiving ocean.

Qin Feng was facing an emperor that had survived this ocean.

The waves roared furiously. The vessel under Qin Feng and the ice under Chen Sha were wobbling.

Their eyes met and they could feel the killing intent in each other's sight.

"I want to meet your master. What are you, a C-tier, doing out here?" Chen Sha's voice was filled with subtle anger.

The loss of the Sea Devil Vessel was extensive. A deep-sea vessel cost at least a trillion. This was the first time Chen Sha had experienced such a huge defeat in his years of piracy.

Chen Sha swore he was going to tear the person responsible for the destruction of the Sea Devil apart.

Qin Feng replied, "I am the captain of this vessel!"

Chen Sha could no longer hold back his fury. "Great! Since when did a mere C-tier become so fearless? But it matters not. I will know who's behind you once I take your life!" He boosted his conscious power. Instantly, snowy runes sprang up and spread rapidly across the sea.

The runes instantaneously froze the raging sea. The ice stretched violently and reached Deep-sea Feng Li in no time.

Aptitude users inside the vessel were terrified. They knew this was Chen Sha's ability barrier. If they did not retreat now, the vessel would be trapped inside the ice floe and their lives would be at Chen Sha's mercy.

But since they did not receive any orders from Qin Feng, they neither retreated nor retaliated.

Qin Feng did not hesitate and raised his equally powerful fire runes.

Scarlet runes spread around the periphery of the vessel and boiled the seawater. The water eventually turned red and transformed into molten lava.

The lava collided with the incoming ice floe and…

The two flows of energy crashed and created a deafening explosion.

A thick fog ascended but was quickly blown away by the strong wind.

Each ability user had his or her own Diamond Starglobe full of runes on it. These runes would turn into ability when released. Chen Sha's rune volume was apparently tremendous.

Also, there was seawater everywhere. The water could be turned into ice anytime and used by Chen Sha. The geographical advantage boosted his ability by at least three more levels.

From his perspective, he could slaughter Qin Feng with ease.

Instantly, the ice on the frozen sea surface was molded into one after another ice javelin and was shot toward Qin Feng.

There was visibly no gap between the packed spearheads.

'Just some ice javelins!' Qin Feng sneered and triggered his Diamond Starglobe. Enormous fire runes appeared out of thin air.

Though Qin Feng had zero advantage in this battleground, he compensated it with his seemingly endless fire runes.

The runes had also turned into one after another fire javelin that was headed right at the incoming icy rain.

The two abilities collided.

The ice shattered and the fire exploded.

Chen Sha's face contorted into a grimace.

The person in front of him was just a C-tier but time and again, he had successfully nullified his attacks. This pissed him off.

"Again! Ice Cyclone!"

Qin Feng did not back down.

"Fire Dragon!"

"Roar!"

Two giant dragons of opposing elements rammed in midair.

It once again ended in a draw.

They fought feverishly on the sea surface and none refused to back down.

But soon, they realized Qin Feng had not been going at full strength.

Even under such conditions, his fire runes continued to assault Chen Sha and he gradually gained the upper hand.

Others on the floating ice could no longer stand by.

They did not want anything to happen to their leader.

The eyes of Yu Yangtao's underlings became teary. They knew that nothing they said could stop Yu Yangtao now.

Yu Yangtao walked out of the passage and came out on the sea surface.

Wang Yangying realized that the seawater was unable to protect him so he decided to take Qin Feng head-on.

The dark runes covered his track flawlessly. No one knew where he had disappeared to.

"Sh*t! Yang Qian, save me!" Wang Yangying did not think twice and ran toward Yang Qian's direction.

Yang Qian was equally shocked. He fended off Yu Yangtao and dashed to Wang Yangying to protect him.

Qin Feng appeared like a ghost and was immediately targeted by Yang Qian.

"Die!"

The harpoon in Yang Qian's hand was aimed at Qin Feng. The gold radiance on the runic weapon coupled with his strong internal force could tear apart even the most ferocious beast.
