Aprils pov

2 days later :

"April! April! Are you even listening to me?" Esmy asks and by the tone of her voice, I can tell she's irritated.

"Um... " I trail off.

"Come on! This is really important I mean I know you're daydreaming about my brother but come on! " She exclaims making me blush.

"For starters, I was not thinking about your brother I just remembered that you have something that belongs to me. " I say honestly.

"What do I have?" She asks while sitting down.

PS. We are in Jasons' house right now, I really didn't feel like going out after what happened last time.

"My backpack," I say slowly hoping to the Goddess that she hasn't seen what's inside.

"Right. I've been meaning to ask you about that." She says seriously.

"Did you open it?" I asked fearing the answer.

"Yes for the safety of my pack. Although, I really didn't understand what I was reading." She says without blinking.

" Okay. I understand that." I reply to the first part of the statement.
