It was now Monday. Alyssa was at the funeral home dressed in her amber colored dress. Her long brown hair was curled the way her mom liked her hair. She had purple eye shadow and her face had more make up than any normal day. Carolina was in the room with the food. She didn't have the heart yet to see her best friend's body. Lena.
Axel and the rest of the Knights helped set up the place the best the could with Carolina telling them where to place everything. Alyssa walked into the room that held her parents. They hadn't even opened the caskets yet. She was scared. She still remembered them with blood all over them. She opened each casket with her hands shaking. She looked at her parents. Their pale skin. She could still see the scar on her dad's face. Her mother had a very large scar on her neck, from where they killed her.
She could still remember her mom yelling at her to run, but she couldn't. Tears ran down her face. Her body felt heavy as her legs met the ground. She was so desperately to feel her mother's arms around her. To hear her dad's laugh. To see them together, smiling and laughing like before. They were so happy. She didn't even understand how those people could do that. How they could take her parents away from her. Right in front of her eyes.
Right in front of her eyes. Seeing both of her parents' eyes drained from life. Their skin right in front of her was pale not like they where when they were alive. Their bodies were cold. Their hands were cold.
"Alyssa" Carolina said softly as she quietly came into the room. She held out a hand for Alyssa.
"I miss them" Alyssa said taking Carolina's hand.
"I know"
"It's not fair how this has to happen. To my family. Why'd those people have to do that? What did my parents or I even do?" Alyssa cried
"You did not do anything and as far as I know your parents didn't do anything as well. These people enjoy hurting people. They could just be that insane to where don't understand human emotions anymore." Carolina explained "They've probably been hurting people for such a long time that they enjoy it because of the fact it raises them into power."
"Hey Mom, there's people now showing up" Daniel said from the door.
"Alright!" Carolina said to her son "Look I'll go great everyone and give you time to readjust yourself. no one will blame you for crying. It's normal. So don't be afraid to cry"
Carolina left the room to great the guest. Alyssa slowly put herself together. She took a deep breathe and headed towards the front of the building.`
"You good?" Alyssa heard a familiar voice from behind her.
She turned around to see Axel
"i guess" Alyssa responded
"Do you mind if I just I guess stay by your side during this? I don't know many people here and I mean you basically know a whole lot more than me" Axel asked innocently
"sure" Alyssa said with a small smile and a slight blush on her cheeks. Axel smiled seeing Alyssa's blush.
