This mini arc is about to end, finally!

"This is the research I did together with many other scientist secretly.

And as I said, this is a prototype, so it really is not put out in the public at all.

I've made many weapons that can kill so I thought I should make something to save people to at least not go to the deepest part of hell when I die." AA half lied as he said this with a depreciating smile.

"So, we can't tell anyone about it? Yes?" Eunalia asked with a pout.

"Yes, you really can't. Do you have any other question to ask?" AA said with a slightly stern voice but still quite gentle as he already feel slightly close to this two ladies after experiencing this events.

Although, they are not as important as Marianne to him right now, he can consider them as close friends already.

"Should we really ask? Will you even answer?

Everything is fine already, you can just tell us if when you can or want." Eunalia answered him sharply with her own question and a slight smile, showing a bit of her hidden intellect before giggling and getting back to her bubbly self.

"That's right. I, myself, can understand if you want to hide things. We are not bosom buddies after all." Flora said with slight manliness clearly showing the type of sporty woman she is.

The two of them had become more comfortable with AA now that they did not hid their real personalities unlike before.

This two ladies had been hiding most of their personalities and capabilities to almost everyone.

Eunalia did so because she thought she can just live a carefree life after reaching a position of only being below two person which was the emperor and the empress.

A concubine of the emperor is quite high in Britannia's social hierarchy after all.

While Flora hid her manly like self, the truth is that, she was really like Cornelia specially when she was a little kid.

She just became feminine as it was what is expected of her since becoming a concubine.

She can't really be like Marianne who does not need to bother with what other people said specially since she is part of a family of nobles who had a quite big standing in the empire even before she became a concubine.

Although she does not need to bother too much with her family now, she is at least required to present a good image in public.

She is very unlike Eunalia who hid her intellect starting from a young age because of being thought by her family about being a 'proper' noble lady and being married to someone by the family.

She not bother too much and had just gone with the flow because she does not have much aspiration.

Her bubbly self was a result of 'just going with the flow' though. She did not bother to think too much and just happily became friend to everyone even if she was treated like some kind of naive or stupid person sometimes.

No one will really do anything to her if she looks harmless and weak after all, is what she thought while doing this things.

Only now that something dangerous happened and Cornelia was almost implicated that she decided to do things by herself.

"What do you ladies want to eat? You should be feeling hungry now, right? I will cook and let you taste something better than even the palace's chef! Hehehe..." AA said suddenly trying to just ignore and get pass the topic.

"That's right! Our barbecue was interrupted earlier! We had not even tried how your barbecue tasted like! You better do your best because the anticipation and hype is already too much!

Even an above average is not enough to satisfy me right now!" Eunalia said seriously and solemnly sounding like a professional food critic.

"Hm! Hm!" Flora hummed and nodded with enthusiasm in agreement to Eunalia's statement.

"Ha! Be prepared to be amazed by my greatness!" AA said arrogantly with a smug face as the mood really lightened up and became relaxing now that Marianne is not in a critical situation.

Although the three of them are quite sleepy too and felt really tired, they still had not let up and still stayed up just in case even when they are already relaxed now and in reprieve.

They just stayed like that while doing some things like cleaning themselves up and filling up their stomachs then talking to each other while having tea, although Flora is not really a tea person even though she was British but more like the coffee type, specially the bitter one.

They also did not bother call up on a rescue anymore and just waited for those from the palace and they thought that the other people in the nearby coast is not trust worthy enough.

And just like that, a few hours had passed and Marianne had finally woken up while Cornelia is still sleeping.

The healing pod automatically stopped and drained the all the liquid compound inside after detecting that Marianne had already woke up.

It was programmed like that as it meant that the user is already healthy enough and the pod won't be able to give much more help as it can only do this much.

If the patient is still not stable enough then the person would have continued to sleep as the pod itself will continue to give small amounts of anesthetic for them to continue sleeping.

Marianne's wound is already closed up but it was still quite fresh, it had already scabbed and would definitely bleed again if you remove the scab.

"Alister! Flora! Eunalia!" Marianne called out cautiously as the pod opened up and she started getting out of it.

The three people she called heard her voice as they are quite nearby, just a meter or two, although they are not facing the pod's opening, or more like, the pod's opening is not facing them.

"I am here! You can relax!" AA said hurriedly as he stood up from where he is sitting and came to Marianne to support her because he knows that the wound should still be painful and it would not do good for Marianne if she forces herself.

She still needed some time to replenish the lost blood after all.
