"You two really hanged out in there?!" AA said with a fake shock and surprise look on his face.

"That's right! That place is a top secret! Hehehe..." VV said with a smug look on his face as he laugh with arrogance.

"What are you two even doing in there?" AA asked doubtfully.

'This two really became somewhat of a neet! And the place they stayed all week long or more is the thought elevator!

I really can't imagine that Charles will become something like this.' AA thought to himself.

"What is that ruins for anyway?" Marianne asked curiously to CC as she knows that she would not get any proper answer to the other two guys and AA probably does not know about it too.

"We are researching about that place, you know! We-we, are not just standing by!" VV answered loudly to AA's doubtful look and question.

Charles just stayed silent at that. He did not even bother saying anything to defend himself as he might just become more of a laughing stock if he said some excuses.

'Better to just admit it silently. Besides, I am the emperor.

It doesn't matter what I do because I can do everything I want and no one can say otherwise.' Charles thought to himself as he sipped tea to reduce his presence.

"That place really is quite cool though.

We manage to prove that geass really had something to do with human thoughts because of that place.

And also, that place has some kind of hidden location that can only be gotten into by geass users and code holders.

That hidden place is really beautiful.

Besides, that ruins can't really be called a ruins.

It is more like an ancient mural or monument." CC said with a smile and a hint of excitement.

"That really seems to be quite mystical." AA said thoughtfully as he caress the none existent facial hair on his chin.

"Mystical huh? That word might really be an apt description to that hidden place.

The hidden place is called Thought elevator by the way.

It was a Greek temple like infrastructure that floats in a limitless and landless sky.

Although, I said that it floats.

I really think that it does not float at all because there is no swaying or even a slight vibration on it.

It is more like, the infrastructure itself is stuck in the space it is currently in.

That right, it was fixed in place isn't it." CC said to AA and Marianne as an explanation at first but ended up just thinking to herself out loud at the end.

"That really seems magical! I wanna see it!

Can you let me take a look?!" Marianne asked to CC excitedly as she took one of CC's hands on hold.

"Hmph! Barbaric people are not allowed in there!" VV said spitefully with disdain showing how prickly he is once more.

"Hmmm... Alright, you can come with me. You are trust worthy enough, I guess." CC said to Marianne with a slight smile casually before facing Charles and saying: "She is on me Charles."

"Hmmm..." Charles just hummed at that.

"What about you AA? Do you want to see that place too?" CC asked with a curious look.

"Hmmm... Nah, that place just doesn't seem to be more interesting than making my knightmare frames." AA said calmly faking an uninterested look on his face thinking about doing something. "How has your research of that place been anyway?"

"Sigh... Not really good. It seems like, we will need a year or more to get some significant result." CC said with sigh and rue smile.

Charles let out a sigh at that too. While VV had a sour look on his face as he bit his thumb in frustration.

"Aiya... That's why I am not interested in that kind of research.

There is no basis for this kind of things at all.

This things are all about assumptions and then proving it with experiments.

And even if you got results it might still not be a hundred percent proof at all.

This kind of pseudoscience is really troublesome.

I think you should just try and do every kind of experiment you can." AA said with an advising look as he nodded to his own advice.

This advice and tone that is very professional like made Charles and CC have a thoughtful look as they stared at AA for a few moments.

"Hmm... Why don't you help us researching the thought elevator?" CC asked AA with a bright smile and a hopeful look on her face.

"Aiya... Even if you give me such a beautiful bright smile, I am sorry but I would still reject you.

I really don't like this pseudoscience stuff.

It is really troublesome and you won't even manage to learn anything reliable that can be use in the general field.

Even if my pursuit is knowledge, I still pick what knowledge to learn, you know.

You can't just learn everything after all.

What you should learn are factual things and other practical experiences." AA said in an explanation and a grumble showing how much he does not want to do it.

"Sigh... You really don't want to help us research on it? Fine." CC said with acceptance before looking at Charles with a raised brow side ways.

Charles saw that look on CC's face and can just let out a sigh again before looking at AA for a moment.

"How about I cash in one of my favors, AA?" Charles said to AA seriously.

"Hmmm... Are you really gonna use one of the favors I owe you for this?" AA asked with a frown on his face.

'Yes! Hahaha! Now I will only owe you once!

I really don't like owing people because after living for so long.

I have become a man of my word.

If I said it, I will definitely do it.

I don't know when did I become like this.

I was quite an indecisive fellow in previous life after all.

A person who can only talk but not take action at all.
