What Happened to My Nicolas?

Back at Earth-16...

The thirteen council members were just done looking at the blue screen and after seeing the video they all remained quiet, as cold ran through their spines. The video they just saw shocked all of them, they just saw a humanoid creature that was unknown to their planet that was super strong.

After the creature ate the five farmers flesh like meat and sucked their blood like it had been thirsty for blood for a long time. it then went back to what was behind it.

Behind it was something like a ship, it was big to contain an eight footy humanoid creature, at the doors that opened the ships, there was writings, but those writings were unknown to human, because it was the language of the humanoid creature. on top of the writing was a symbol that looked like a lion but only that it had four eyes and two long fang teeths that made it look terrifying. when the humanoid creature got to the door of his shop it spoke in a language that was unknown to humans, it sounded like bees buzzing then suddenly after that sounds the doors opened.

Immediately the doors opened orange smokes could be seen coming out of the ship, the ship was entirely black in the inside and outside, the humanoid creature stepped in after the orange smoke coming out of the ship had reduced and as he humanoid creature entered through the ships doors the doors started to close and gradually from the outside view of the ship the ship started to fade until it was no more.

That was where the video ended making the viewers also confused at what was happening because how could a ship just teleport like that with no trace. the only thing they could reason was that this very humanoid creatures where the one who sent that teleporter obilieterated two humans, because they both teleported thesame way. but there was no clear evidence.

The Five farmers that died did not bother the thirteen council leaders their main concern was the humanoid creature if it was to come back they should be prepared.

Wes then looked at each one of them gradually and just inhaled heavily and started talking:"this is the reason why we should not be fighting about why the fourteen families left at this time, we should all stay together so that we can fight this common enemy, although we have no idea if they might turn to our alliance later but we still have to think out the box and stay prepared".

Wes was still standing and so was Christopher, the leader with trust issues after seeing all this Christopher calmed down and sat meanwhile Wes had made a call for someone to come and testify about what had happened at a military base, the very military base that all this things happened and the person was Hugo.

A knocked was heard. "Come in" said Wes still standing. Hugo one of the scientist at th lab came in and he bent down to greet all the thirteen leaders. Then he looked at Wes and said "Sir, if it is your will may I speak".

"you may speak to us" Wes said back to Hugo.

In Earth-16 humans respected the thirteen family leaders more than even the King, they had this notion at the back of their head that the leaders were appointment by a divine being that they could not see but feel it's presence when close the leaders. people both respected and feared the leaders in Earth-16 and it was a good and a bad thing as well, because the leaders were humans but some people have admitted to seeing the leaders as God's in human form. There is approximately 3,750 ethnic groups on the planet, because of confusion they all came together to form one language they would all speak to be able to communicate like i said this dimension was the survival of fittest. Each of the fifteen families had 250 ethnic groups in them so not to cause confusion out of the vast population, one family would be appointed from each 250 ethnic groups.

when the families were first appointed, according to, there was confusion of who should be leader of a section of each 250 ethnic group but they all came together and choose one family from each of the 250 ethnic groups Making it a total of 15 families.

The criteria they all looked at was:

* Strength

* Size

* Confidence

* Wealth

* Wisdom e.t.c.

After choosing the fifteen families which was done by majority of the masses at that time.

NOTE: the appointment of the fifteen families had been done milineium of years ago before this very event started and it was done so that humanity could come together to be at the top of the food chain so that they would no be snacks for the megladon, velociraptor and so on. humanity grew in technology they built walls so thick and thin that even super humans could not break them. the walls were strong enough to withstand anything, humanity built cities so large, in the city there was a good sign of inequality as the poor had little to no homes, often living in tenth made of the skins of some durable animals, most of this tenths although they were referred to as for the poor, these tents could withstand heat and also the coldest wind. the rich built houses so that large....

Apart from the leaders there were also big men that although not part of the families had made so much wealth and had a great influence. The rich built big building that looked like the size of an average ancient Egyptian pyramid. They mostly comprised of different designs depending on the taste of the owner. There were many cities on the planet, each far from each other and with no interference at every city (the city was a total of 59), each city had some kind of governor that was appointed by the King subject to the approval of the thirteen family leaders.

Each governor had executive and legislative power over the city he resides and cannot leave their till death. although that could not be said for the thirteen families and the King who could move any how they wanted it was just up to there wishes.

The thirteen leaders and the King all lived in a city that was situated at the center of the planet geographically, this city was the largest of all the rest combined that it would take a cheetah 67 days to reach the end without stopping. it had rivers in it and was the most expensive to leave in. so you would hardly see beggars. Earth-16 still had servants and they were treated anyhow, some of them even killed for some native rituals. people become servants when they are unable to pay their debt and the debtors give themselves or their children to the debtor so that they would not be taken to court, which would result to move severe punishment.

At the center of the city called Litarania was the King palace which was one of the biggest building in the city and most astonishing because of its beauty it brought tourist from other part of the city or other cities. the thirteen council leaders houses where also in the center, but from each other.

At Wes' building which one was one of the biggest building in the city, were all the thirteen council members and Hugo in a private room that noise could not pass trough the walls because the walls were actually sound proof.

Wes was not actually the oldest, he just was the highest because he was the number one council members. they were all ranked in numbers. the higher the number the more the persons authority counted in their meetings. the King was not invited because just like a legislative system, they would make the agreement and Inform It to the King, who would decide to accept it or not. if the King accepts it it would become law but if he rejects it there is nothing they can do. they can only make a meeting and bring out a flaw the King has made and remove him from seat. the punishment for a leaving King was death by flaying him in public.

Because of this, most times the Kings of the past always would not like to get on the bad side of any of the council members because that would lead them to big hatred from one of the members and gradually all of them and a false allegation can be made against the King and the punishment might still be laid on the innocent king.

the thirteen current council members are as follows with their numbers indicated their level in the meeting:

The thirteen leaders

1. Wes (a man around six foot, his stomach was big to the point that his clothes looked like it was going to tear, the big stomach was a sign that he was eating too much, he was a little dark in complexion and was not that bright in wisdom, he just got the position new because the previous leader of the firstcouncil just passed away thirteen weeks ago, he was appointed by the council head when he was alive to be his successor, he looked to be in his early forties, He possessed the power to steal someone else's talent).

2. Larry (she was the oldest here when it comes to age and experience and she looked to be in her early seventies, she had already appointed her successor in case of any death that may occur, she always had a staff close to her as she had bent a little, she was still a little wise but old age has been affecting her memory. she had been asked to resign and allow her successor take over but she refused, she had the ability to control the Earth around her).

3. Gibbons (an average man that looked a little pale in complexion and he was the tallest and thinner standing around six foot and three inches, he was mostly the quiet one there, he had the ability to wrap reality).

4. Christopher (the one with trust issues, he never trusted anyone, he also was newly appointed he had a bad past that made him trusted no one, he was chubby in size, he could alter his size and the size of others and things around him).

5. Alex (looked like in her early fifties, she had the ability to read mind or persuade other, she had hypnosis).

6. Arebella (looked like in her early sixties, she always wore a pair of glasses that looked old fashioned and were gray in colour, they were not for fashion show those glasses were to protect those she looked at because with those glasses any body she looked out will turn to stone).

7. Harriet (looked like in her early fifties, she had the ability of telekinesis).

8. Lyra (looked like in her a calm woman that had no time, but was ready to jump out at any time someone made her angry, she could bring beams from her mouth, face or any part of her body, those beams were so power that they destroyed anything at their touch).

9. Alora (a calm and always calm woman, an introverted lady that always looked at every one and hardly spoke until she was spoken to by others, she could control any liquid substance around her).

10. Rowan( a man that his skin looks red, has a hot temper and hates Christopher for no reason known now. he had ability of fire and was known by almost every one in the city).

11. Cornell (a man looked in his early fifties, he could control the air around him).

12. Wilfred (a man that his age cannot be depicted from his face, he had transformational ability).

13. Chadwick (this one is mysterious almost everything he does in secret, he was the weakest of them all with no ability).

After being told to speak by Wes, Hugo raised his head and started with his hand gestures as usually, he always does this hand gestures whenever he wanted to explain something and this time it was clear he was shaking, it was not because he could not communicate with them, it was because he was looking at the strongest people on the planet that could kill him in an instant and nobody could do anything or stop.them. The council was deemed to be higher than the King in terms of power according to the lame man but the King was actually higher.

"It was just like any other day, but today was different, we started hearing strange sounds, and all of a sudden, a contraption appeared at the end of the lab, we could see that it was like an oval shape, dark blue on the outside, and the inside began to generate white light." Because of the brightness of the lights, some of us refused to look at the device. Tables and chairs began flying into it, and as soon as they touched it, they decayed, as if the contraption had some kind of force to draw objects towards it."

"Then all of a sudden, the criminal we were experimenting on at the lab broke free from the chains we used to wrap his body; it was as if the contraption's white light gave him superhuman strength to be able to break those chains like they were biscuits, he then stood on his two feet and punched one of my fellow scientists there, he took his white lab coat, and he walked into the contraption for no reason, it was as if he wanted to die, it was as if he had a death wish or something. He obilietered in an instant as he touched the contraption, and we were all perplexed as to why he did so."

"After seeing him turn to ashes in our presence, we all started panicking and started hitting the door trying to open it, some there with their pen at it, no one would relax to input their fingerprint we were all scared, then suddenly the door was opened by lieutenant general Lucas who came in with two army officers and one of their hair was yellow while the other was Brown, he then asked me why I stood there if there was nothing I could do, I replied telling him there was nothing I could do. He then ordered one of his men to close than the contraption, the one he informed to do this was the boy with yellow hair whose name was Nicolas."

Hugo said the name Nicolas as if it drew Lyra's attention, and he also realised that the Nicolas he is about to discuss is Lyra's great-grandson, and how is he going to tell her that her son may have died or something worse may have happened to him without her knowing? One remarkable thing was that both Nicolas and the criminal did not shout when they turned to dust, instead they smiled, as if it made them feel good.

He then swallowed his saliva, contemplating how to confidently communicate this to them.

"And.... Keep saying what you're saying," Lyra added. It was as though he couldn't say anything after mentioning the Nicolas name and looking at the way Lyra had looked at him.

"Nicolas came forward and released his energy from his mouth, and after it hit the contraption, it was as if the contraption became angry, and the contraption retaliated by turning its white light to red, and the red colour looked solid, as if something was about to come out." Nicolas suddenly looked at us and smiled, then hurried and leaped into the white contraption for no apparent reason and obilietered in a second."

Hugo's final statements caused Lyra to get up from her chair and start yelling at him, denying him the opportunity to respond. "How is that possible? There must be a way to bring him back, what do you mean?" With your great IQ, you should be able to come up with a plan to bring him back within 24 hours, else your head would be severed from your body, is that understood? I believe he is alive.

Hugo answered with a halting "Y...e...yes Ma" in a rather low voice.

"Now get out of my sight" said Lyra. she squeezed her face seriously and did not even bother looking at the others while she said these words. The others did not bother interfering because that is what they would have done if they were in her shoes or might have even done worse.

Hugo then left the room, immediately Hugo was out of their sight he thought to himself: 'i pray all this leaders die someday', how on Earth does she expect me to provide someone that had honestly turned to dust right in front of our eyes what does she expect me to do I cannot perform socery nor do I have the power to raise back the dead'. Hugo thought to himself still confused as he went out if the building, he exhaled and inhaled a large amount of air, it was as if he wanted to do this for a long time. then reality hit him Lyra one of the council head had promised to cut off his head if he does not provide her great-grandson and she could do it and would not be questioned by anyone Including the King who seemed to support the council's every action.

At his property, a man was working alone to remove the grass. This period's frequent rain may be to blame for the grasses' quick growth and increased greenness, he reasoned to himself. As he spoke, he slightly raised his head, but as he did so, something that he had never seen or experienced before sped past him. It had struck his cornfield a few kilometres away and was completely blue. Most of the nearby maize burned instantly as a large wind erupted from where the weird item had struck the cornfield.

He then started walking closer to the site and it was as if the site was now emmiting smoke, when he got a Little closer he could see a man completely naked and that man was lying on the floor face down it was as if the man followed the blue energy and fell on the floor with it. when he saw the man, the farmer carried two light Stones and threw them towards the man, with his poor aiming skills neither of the stones hit the man he then went a little closer and with his trustee staff that was always on his hand he used it to touch the man on the shoulder blade trying to wake him up.

Before touching the man, he held his staff with two hands and he was still shaking and thinking: 'Is this a man or some supernatural being that fell from the heavens to save mankind from an impending doom'.

When he touched the strange man shoulder blade it was as if the strange man's body sent heat to the staff that the staff because do hot that the man could no longer hold it. "Ah!" He shouted. The staff gradually started turning to ashes as if it had touched fire the farmer was confused as he looked at it turning to ashes.

Gradually the man started moving his fingers and gradually he stood up with his nakedness and did not look ashamed. He looked at his left and right and then looked back at the man still confused as to where he was and how he got there. He had no clue. The Farmer then looked at him and asked him this question: "Who are you?". the farmer said still trying to blow his hand because he felt heat immediately he used his hand to touched the strange man's shoulders and it was still hurting him currently.

Randomly some strange name came into his head just to tell the man so that he could save himself from the embarrassment that he had no clue of himself. "my name is James Theodore". The name James Theodore had come into his head through a voice.

The voice that told him this name to speak was unknown to him, the voice in his head was identical to the one he has but this voice seemed like it was commanding him to do so. 'Who owns this voice, how did it get in my head, is my name actually James Theodore'. He thought to himself.

While thinking about this he had looked at the floor without realizing it. While he was looking at the floor which had been burnt from his impact, the farmer had called into him: "Hey is there anything I can do for you". the farmer had asked a man deep in thought.

While deep in thought he could not hear what the man had said and it was if the man was speaking to a deaf naked man who did not care about giving him another reply after giving him the name James Theodore.

"Hello, Hello, Hello" the man was now waving his hands in front of the naked man. "Ah!" the naked man shouted as he was holding his head with both arms, both arms were at one both end, the man was confused about what was going on. unknown to the farmer the strange man after thinking too much his he started to feel stinging pain at his head. Those pains started to increase every second and then he then knelt in the floor with one knee and then the other followed with his face down.

"what happened...." the farmer said while trying to touch him "ah, he is still too hot".

James's head was filled with memories that were flowing through so quickly that he was unable to grasp any of them. Eventually, he was able to grasp at least one of the memories that were playing there: "I Love you so much that is why I have to do this," a woman with short reddish hair said to James. He was attempting to recall the woman's name, but the more he tried, the worse the anguish got. Eventually, he gave up because the torment was too much for him to bear, and he collapsed to the ground unconscious.

The farmer stared at him bewildered and perplexed as to why the weird, nude, and unashamed man who claimed to be James Theodore fainted in front of him.

on an unknown planet in an unknown system was a different race of beings.

The aliens are humanoid beast that have a single tail that was also very thick, they had super strong approximately the strength of fifteen men at one hand, they were about eight foot tall and there skin was Brown and they had marked all over there body like they were sewed.

Funny enough, the device the aliens were inspecting was the same device that had suddenly materialised in front of the lab at the military installation. It was a dark blue oval teleporter, as could be seen by the aliens.

One of the aliens with the six spikes on his back asked, "Any updates?" Depending on their level of strength, some of the aliens possessed varying numbers of spikes.

NOTE: They don't speak English; they are only written in this manner so that readers will know where the story is going.

Another retorted, "I'm almost finished."

Deteroits is the name of the alien race, there most common enemy is the Everlasting souls.

Who were the Everlasting souls?

THE EVERLASTING SOULS are a group of celestials that look over the mutliverse, each one has a weird appearance depending on their personality.

"it is done it just needs activation from one of us, to be able to turn on" replied one of the deteroits with 3 spikes on his back. the deteroits with six spikes on his back then looked at one of them who had one spike on his back and said: "you go and turn it on".

'so this is how I am going to die' the deteroits with one spike thought to himself. immediately his touched a part of the oval looked dark blue teleporter, the deteroits had turned to dust on impact and suddenly a white light emerged at the center of the teleporter.

They all stood there waiting for some minutes and waiting for the teleporter to turn to red so that it would be safe for then to get in. As they teleporter turned red after waiting for so long, the deteroits saw a boy with yellow hair(which was Nicolas the great-grandson of Lyra, which fact was unknown to them) jumped out of the teleporter. they were all puzzled but none of them had a time to think properly.

immediately Nicolas landed on their planet through the portal, he wanted to run back outside but it was as if the teleporter had turned itself off immediately he went through.

NOTE: this teleporter is a high tech and it disappeared on Earth-16 immediately it turned off on the unknown planet. the aliens invented it this way through their brightest minds so that no one would copy their works and invade them.

After seeing it turn of Nicolas turned back at the aliens and before he could try to being out his energy from his mouth, his head had already been caught of my one of the deteroits with six spikes and gradually the rest of them at the room started to devour his flesh like they were deprived of meat for a long time and drink his blood like they had being deprived of anything liquid. the way they ate him was as if they had being hungry for long time.

Then one Detroit came in the room who had one spike on his bag. the others stopped eating immediately they saw him and tapped the deteroits with six spikes. when the deteroits with six spike saw him he spoke to him saying: "Seeing you here means that the planets orbit is safe and we can descend anytime later as we please".

"Yes, sir I believe their defense is weak because I entered and killed five of them and no one disturbed me, not even any beast, they are weak and their body tastes so delicious" said the man licking his upper lip.

"We can tell as you can see we just had one of them as a meal just before you came in".

They had consumed Nicolas' body till it was unrecognisable. the deteroit that killed Nicolas was standing around 11 feet tall.

The question is, why did James teleport to another Earth, and why did Nicolas teleport back to the deteroits' base? Was it due to an unknown force, fate, or was he destined to travel there, or was there an error with the teleporter?

Earth-16

in was night time and Hugo was moving up and down in his house thinking of what would happen to him and his close relatives if he did not produce Nicolas.

He started to curse himself and the day he started to walk as a scientist with the military base. Then a knock was heard at his door. the door was hit as if the door was being harrassed.

BANG* BANG* BANG* the door sounded. he ran to a chair and hid behind it. he was terrifying because of what Lyra had told him, he was wondering if it was her or any of her men that knocked the door.

Then all of a sudden the knocks had stopped and he then went to the door slowly trying his best not to make a single sound, he first of all went to his window and checked with one eye opened and one eye closed, his body was still shaking and when he checked he could see no one. he then gathered his courage and opened his door and behold he was saw there was actually no one but what caught his eyes was a letter that was on the floor. it was actually Brown in nature and had a seal that was red and thick. 'Should I take this inside my house and read it or would this be a trap or was Lyra trying to tell me of my deadline'. He thought to himself.

He then gathered the courage and took the letter inside his house and then looked the door before he sat down to read, he first of all dropped the letter on a small table at the center of his room and then he went to his kitchen to drink a glass of cold water. the cold water that went through his through have him a feeling, a sweet sensation and relaxed him. Cold water was his remedy to ease himself out. After drinking it he cleaned his mouth with his hands and then went back and sat to read the letter, he swallowed his saliva.

It was as if immediately he held the letter, his heart started to beat at a tremendous rate, he was still scared: "I have to gather courage to read this he said to himself."

He then opened the letter and behold was written these words:

Dear Hugo,

We know what happened to you today, we know you're scared, and we know you need protection from Lyra and the other council members; all you have to do is agree and keep our existence a secret, and we'll help you and then your entire family escape the calamity that is about to befall you. if you accept this letter we would know and we are always around and we would keep in touch. WE ARE EVERYWHERE

it was clear the writer of this letter wanted to remain anonymous. but the last words that they were everywhere made him look at his left and write to see if someone was watching him that gave him a little goosebumps just the thought of it and then after reading the entire letter. he could see that the words were fading and then they were no more it was as if the words knew he was done reading them and they faded away and now the paper looked like nothing was ever written on it.

He thought to himself who wrote this letter?
