I hear distant beeping sounds and I try to open my eyes but they don't seem to obey

"Will she be okay?" I hear his voice asks but I don't know who he is asking

"She-" I feel myself being pulled into a deep sleep at

I hear the beeps and I try to open my eyes again but it doesn't. It's like I don't have control over them anymore

"It's all my fault mom. If I hadn't joined,  maybe then-" I hear him crying and I want to touch him, but my body doesn't move

"Darling, it's okay. I know it's an unfortunate thing to happen but that's life."

"Hey panda. How you doing? I really miss you. Please just wake up. I really want to hear your voice again. So please. Just wake up. Hmmm?" My heart breaks as I hear Christian cry because of me. I really do try to move my body and open my eyes, but they don't move.
