Wang Xiu opened her eyes to darkness. The room smelled like rust and rotting waste. She moved her body from the floor and found her hands and legs were free to move. Her eyes were still adapting to the dark when she heard movements nearby.
"Hello???"
"X-Xiu???" The dry voice said.
"F-Fei???"
She quickly scrambled on the floor trying to find the woman. Minutes passed and her hands started to cramp stretching her arms on the floor.
"Where are you???"
