"Jeff???" He repeated the name with shock.
"So, he's the traitor," Olivia announced.
He stared at the spy across the room. The casual expression of the woman screamed triumph to have him on a hot spot. Mischa talked to the hired man before they came. Either she promised to pay him, to tell the truth, or to point at his butler.

"Tell me, Elric. Can Jeff do this??? Betray you???" Wang Xiu asked with her eyes narrowed by doubt.
He stared at the woman stepping closer to where he stood. Saying yes would mean he had to fire the butler and confidant he had since he was young. No means he needs to point out the blame to someone else. Tangible evidence and connection to the death of a man he didn't know that Mischa killed.
