Originally, Booth Jaak had lustful intentions towards Yetta Astir and did not intend to shoot her.
But he had not expected that Yetta, undisturbed by danger, would run like a lively rabbit while holding a metal box, making it impossible for him to catch up.
In a fit of rage, Booth became annoyed, pulled out his gun, and aimed at Yetta's back.
Unaware of the looming threat, Yetta reached a corner of the boulder and looked back at Booth's position.
Bang!
Just then, Booth fired his gun!
The bullet whizzed out, hitting Yetta squarely in the right shoulder, at the front of her chest.
Yetta cried out and fell down...
Basil Jaak had just emerged from the cabin and heard the gunshot; then, he saw Yetta being shot and falling.
"Yetta!"
Seeing that familiar figure collapse, Basil's face contorted with rage, and his Killing Knife flew out of his hand, directed at the perpetrator, Booth!
Booth happened to turn around, and the dagger, perfectly aimed, knocked the pistol from his hand!
