Basil Jaak comforted Mamie Powell's emotions, then turned to two nurses and ordered, "Go get a syringe with a needle!"
The nurse was stunned for a moment, not knowing what Basil Jaak wanted the syringe for, but still obediently brought over a syringe with a needle.
Basil Jaak placed his hand on the chair and shouted to the nurse, "Her blood is running out, hurry up and draw my blood to transfuse her."
The nurse hesitated, then mustered the courage to explain to Basil Jaak, "We have prepared enough blood supply, there's no need to draw your blood."
Basil Jaak snorted in displeasure, "Your blood quality is too poor, I don't trust it."
The two nurses felt dejected upon hearing Basil Jaak's words, thinking to themselves that the blood supply in their hospital had been inspected by the health department. How could it be worse than the blood drawn from his body?
