CHAPTER 4 : THE CITY OF EGYPTIA

Time period : 3100 B.C. (Before Cryst)

Location : Earth 6

Long ago, in the ancient city of Egyptia, there lived a powerful queen. A great conqueror famous across the kingdoms for her ruthlessness and her incredible beauty.

Her name, Cleophethrah the Conqueror!

She had conquered two-thirds of the known world with her mighty sword. Leading her army of thousands in countless battles ending always surely in victory.

This warrior wanted for nothing when it came to riches and gold but alas, her heart craved for more.

Two things in particular, more gratifying than all the gold her world could offer and more filling than the sensation in the plunder of kingdoms.

One being that her heart grew lonely and she craved for a connection to fill the empty void created by her ceaseless blood shed.

And the second being that her heart also longed to end the needless blood shed by her hands and by the hands of her soldiers, however, she knew in her heart that if she wanted to take the rest of the world for Egyptia, then she had to continue her conquest.

On a quest to conquer the remnant of the known world, she set off with her armies to take the kingdom of Tanias. The last kingdom that stood between her and world domination.

Cleophethrah and her armies reached the gate of the kingdom of Tanias to find the King of Tanias, King Rami waiting for them.

He was indeed a handsome specimen, with dark skin and long dark hair that touched his shoulders. His oiled upper body was left unclothed revealing an 8 pack wonder as his lower half was clad with pure gold rainments -his big chiseled arms, adorned with rubies and rings of every color.

He stretched out his mighty arms to Cleophethra with diplomacy on his lips.

"Let us avoid this needless war and instead unite our lands into the greatest kingdom this world has ever seen." He spoke with the confidence of a lion.

Cleophethra, stunned at the beauty of this man paused for a moment to think. She analyzed this gorgeous man's idea and realized that accepting this union would bring all of her greatest desires and wishes to pass within the blink of an eye.

After a moment of mulling, she commanded her armies all prepared to attack saying, "Halt! Do not attack! What this man speaks is the truth. It will save many a life from today's needless bloodshed and indeed create the greatest kingdom this world has ever seen!

Therefore! Drop your weapons! There shall be no bloodshed today!" She declared.

Her armies immediately put down their weapons and a roar of joy filled the air from both sides.

The terms of the union were decided. Amongst many other terms, Queen Cleophethrah being the one in possession of the majority of the world's existing population before the union was granted the power to name the kingdom.

Due to her sentiments as the former ruler of the city of Egyptia, she decided to keep the name of her city of conquest and name the new kingdom, the Kingdom of Egyptia.

A High Council was also set up to check the powers of the royals and to rule over the land in case anything ever happened to the rulers.

With that, the kingdoms were united under the union of Queen Cleophethra and King Rami! The rulers and commanders of the greatest army ever known on earth.

Thus, the 'Legendary Kingdom of Egyptia' was born.

...............

After just a night together, King Rami and Queen Cleophethra fell deeply in love with each other and as the years passed, their love grew stronger and stronger.

They were now famed for their undying love for each other as they began to see an offense against one of them as an offense against them both. An error as little as a servant spilling wine on the garment of the queen warranted an execution order from the king, and the servant's head hanged on the city gates as a symbol of their undying loyalty to each other. This and vice versa.

It was rumored that the love they felt for each other drove them to madness to the point that they allegedly performed a sacred blood ritual binding their souls together for all eternity.

............

Time went along and Queen Cleophethra threw herself into the affairs of ruling the kingdom with a newly acquired wisdom of the heart.

Her heart knowing new love grew bigger and enabled her to serve and love her people better.

In time, she became a revolutionary, freeing people from slavery, bringing new and better employments for anyone willing to work, building homes for the homeless and adopting abandoned children as her own. As a result, the people grew more fond of her and began to hail her name in the streets as their one true ruler.

Many years passed and King Rami slowly began to grow envious of his wife Cleophethra and her good works. For he had noticed that the kingdom and its people were more loyal to her than to him. This was no surprise as he already knew that over half the kingdom was already loyal solely to her under the Great City of Egyptia before the birth of the kingdom they both shared.

King Rami's heart darkened. His feelings of love for his wife slowly corrupted into feelings of envy first, paranoia that his darling wife was planning to overthrow him and take the kingdom for herself next, and not long after turned into feelings of hate. (As the saying goes, 'there's a fine line between love and hate.")

He had to do something.

So he called on the men most loyal to him from the former kingdom of Tanias and plotted a coup against Queen Cleopethrah.

They soon attacked her in the middle of the night but failed woefully as they all were arrested and beaten to a pulp by the Queen's soldiers.

"How dare you?!" Cleopethrah asked with tear filled eyes staring at her husband bound at her feet. "Did you really think I wouldn't find out about your coup?! Honestly, when they whispered to me that you were planning something like this, I refused to believe it. I VOUCHED for you before the high council!!" She screamed, shaking with devastation.

"For this act of high treason and wickedness against the woman you once loved, King Rami of Egyptia, you are sentenced to a punishment much worse than death." Queen Cleopethrah declared looking into the eyes of her husband.

"Take him away!! He shall be executed today at dusk in a ceremony of the ritual of 'Him Die' right with every one of them that had a hand in this!"

"As Her Majesty pleases!!!" cried her soldiers in a loud voice.

"No my darling Cleo, Remember our love! Remember our sacrifices, remember our OATHS!!! Show mercy!!!" Rami screamed as he was dragged away with the rest of his traitor soldiers to be executed at dusk.
