"Let go of me!" I yelled, trying to get free from my so-called psycho boyfriend. "I want to devour you. Right here, and right now." He declared with an authoritative voice, causing me to swallow my saliva hard, for I felt disgusted. I don't want to seem weak in front of him, so I decided to act smart. "Let go of me you jerk." Immediately after letting out my statement, Brian held my chin forcefully, as he leaned closer to me. He smirks devilishly and was about to place his lips on mine, which causes me to spit on his face. "You stink!" I coursed. Brian got so angry, and he raised his fist, ready to hit me on my cheek... But all of a sudden the door of the restaurant flies open. A young handsome man with a completely white outfit suddenly made his way inside the restaurant. He seems like a white knight in charming armor, who's coming to rescue the poor me from being assaulted. _________ They say being fat, and chubby is a freaking bad thing, but as for me, being fat is what makes me. Me! Seriously! Do all girls have to look like barbie dolls? I'm Ashley Connor and I'm freaking fat. Having an online boyfriend is something that I admire, and lucky for me, I met Brian Fergus. He's everything a lady could ever dream of, but after meeting him in reality. I figured out that he's a beast. Getting away from him is my biggest concern, and just when I finally found a white knight in shining armor, I became stunned to figure out that he was gay…. Well! That was what he had proclaimed to be. "What would happen when I no longer want to be Brian forever?" "Can I be able to make Mister White Knight fall in love with me?"
Last night was the longest night of my entire night.
I had planned on going to bed early, but sometimes life just turns out to be a bitch.
Mister white knight had advised me to the extent that I'm now pondering about my actions.
I begin to ask myself if marriage is all that I truly want.
My parents live their life happily but that doesn't mean that they have no flaws.
I have been too naive not to ask them about their difficulties.
I had always wanted a kid of my own because having kids who call you 'Mummy' Is going to make you feel complete and of course a husband by your side.
The ceiling stared back at me because that's the only thing it's good at.
I exhaled, and before I finally fell asleep it was already three AM in the morning.
Right now, I still have a lot of thinking to do.
I have to start thinking about a future for myself because I don't want to depend on my parent's money for the rest of my life.
"Miss Ashley Conner! Your breakfast has been served." I heard a maid talking from the other side of the room.
"I'll be out in a minute." I declare.
I'm still sitting down on my bed, and I haven't taken my bath, and neither have I done anything.
Making my way out of my room, I headed straight to the dining room, where I saw my parents both eating together.
They always look so perfect, and right now their perfection is just too good to be true.
My Mom and Dad have never argued since the day that I was born.
Not that I'm praying for them to argue, but things around them are beginning to look suspicious.
Like seriously! There's no way two strangers who aren't related, come together to stay under one roof all in the name of love would never have an argument.
They are expected to at least have a small argument, but my parents are different.
They agree with each other, and I'm aware that they might be family out there who seem like my parents, but my parents just seem… gush! I can't place the right word for it.
"Good morning!" I greeted my parents,
"How was your night dear?" My mom asks as she smiles at me.
"It was long!" I mumble.
"What were you thinking about?" My Dad asked as his brows were slightly arched.
"A lot of things," I mumble.
"Thinks like...?"
"Mom! I was thinking about my life, and about my future." I replied, cutting her off from her statement.
"Can we hear about what you have pondered about?" My Dad asked.
Hearing my parents ' sweet voice was just so warm that I knew for sure that they were going to support my decision. "I'll tell you guy's when I am done taking my bath," I replied because my plan is going to sound surprising to their ears.
"Hmm! If you say so dear." My mum mumbled. "By the way, we have arranged a suitor for you and he fits the description of your dream husband." My Mom added.
I exhale. Perhaps after meeting up with this so-called suitor, I'm going to tell my parents about the fact that I no longer want to get married.
I make my way straight to my room, and I quickly take my bath.
I wore a pink flowery gown and tied my hair into a bond.
Making my way outside my room, I was stunned to see that my suitor was already waiting for me in the sitting room.
"Ashley! This is Mister Andrew." My Mom said as she introduced me to the handsome-looking stranger.
"Nice to meet you, Ashley!" Andrew said as he rose to his seat.
I offered him my hand, and he kissed my hand.
This type of affection is no longer romantic to me.
"The pleasure is mine!" I replied, as I tried to sound polite, while at the same time pulling away my hands from his.
I don't have a problem with Andrew because he's handsome.
He seems like my ideal husband. Fair in complexion and has golden hair that seems like that of royalty.
He's tall, with a broad chest.
I could tell that he's a man who goes to the gym, which is the result of a well built body. Andrew has brown coffee eyes and a good curved chin.
I find myself comparing Andrew to my Mister White Knight because both of them have the appearance of my dream husband.
'Gush! My head is a mess.' I mumble to myself.
Andrew is cute, but I didn't feel any spark while I touched him.
I quickly turn around and gaze at my parents. "Mom! Can I talk to you for a minute?" I whisper.
"What is it about dear?"
"Remember that I promise to tell you about my plan right?" I asked, and my Mom nodded her head. "I want to tell you about my plan right now," I added.
"Sweetheart! Why don't you do that later? Andrew is here and we can't ignore him." My Mom explains.
"Mom! You have to hear....."
My mother didn't allow me to complete my statement, as she cut me off. "I'm sorry Ashley! But let's discuss later." She said firmly.
Her firm voice means that she doesn't want to listen for now.
I exhale, turning around to gaze at Andrew.
"We would leave you two to get to know each other." My Dad said as he pulled my Mom to his side so that they could both excuse us.
I sat down beside Andrew, as I gaze at the floor.
A whole one minutes passed, but the both of us weren't talking to each other.
The silence was a bit awkward for me, so I decided that since he can't man up to break the awkward silence, then I'll do him the honor of breaking the silence.
"I like you!"
"I don't like you."
Both I and Andrew declare at the same time.
He had proclaimed that he likes me, while I had declared the opposite.
Woah! This is awkward.
