Chapter 44

Francheska was sitting on the long chair prepared for everyone inside the hotel in case they want to watch their co-stars while doing their scenes. Rissa left the actress's side for a while to answer an important call. It was a call from their president. Rissa told Jess not to leave Francheska's side in case she needs something.

Rachel and Aldrich were shooting their scenes together. In that scene, Raviel secretly called Cecille to ask for her advice on what gift should he give to Valerie on her birthday. Raviel decided to meet at a hotel near Cecille's apartment to make it less hassle for her. Unexpectedly, they had a good time talking and they enjoyed each other's company.

Cecille's character in the story is a sweet and charming girl. She loves dressing-up and likes collecting cute things and stuff. She is the opposite of Valerie. But still, they understand and respect each other.

Francheska casually watched Rachel and Aldrich while they were chatting in front of the camera. She can admit that Rachel has a talent for acting. Though her acting skills are not yet enough to win her an award, she can still express her emotions with her eyes and she also knows her best angle to show in the camera. But Francheska should not be surprised about it.

Of course, she is good at acting. Isn't it the reason why her father believed Rachel over her? Her father believed Rachel's words and tears. Rachel did a great show that captivated her father's feelings which resulted in him hurting her physically and emotionally.

Francheska was suddenly woke up from being dazed when she heard the director's cut. Director Cartel wanted to retake the scene between Aldrich and Rachel. When Aldrich asked her a question, Rachel did not respond for a long time. Instead, her eyes were focused on the cup of milkshake in front of her.

"Ms. Tan, I need you to focus! Right now, you are Cecille and not Rachel. You got it?" Director Cartel said in a stern voice.

"I know, director. I am so sorry. This will not happen again." Rachel apologized to the director and Aldrich.

"Alright. Then we will shoot again from the start." Director Cartel instructed before sitting back on her chair.

On their second shoot, Rachel is now more focused on the scene and she did not forget to deliver her lines again. After a few minutes, Director Cartel became satisfied with their scene. Checking the time, the director announced they can have an hour and a half lunch break to eat their food and rest.

Francheska was about to leave and find Rissa when a hotel female staff suddenly approached her. According to her, the food she ordered for the whole crew is already waiting in the canteen reserved only for them. Then Francheska blinked her eyes in confusion.

'What food? Did I order food for the whole filming crew? Why am I not informed about it?'

Without waiting for her to answer, the female hotel staff gently announced to them that Ms. Francheska had already made an order for their lunch and it was all waiting for them in the canteen. When the whole filming crew heard it, they quickly thanked the actress for her generosity. Some even howled and clapped their hands. Even Jess was thanking her for her free lunch.

Francheska walked into the canteen and saw several huge tables inside with different exquisite and delicious-looking foods. It was a seafood buffet and every dish displayed on the long table is made from the highest quality of seafood. There was also a separate table full of different fruit juices and non-alcoholic drinks. Everyone's eyes widened in surprise to see those delicious foods.

It is really their lucky day to have such a scrumptious feast!

"Oh! I remember it now." Director Cartel explained. "These good-looking foods and drinks came from 'The Blue Phoenix' restaurant, right?"

"Director, how did you know?" Her assistant director asked.

Director Cartel pointed her fingers at the small ice sculpture of a flying phoenix that was displayed on a huge bowl of fruit punch.

"See that sculpture of phoenix with its wings spread widely? That is the signature ice piece of that restaurant. I sometimes ate in that restaurant with my fiance so I am quite familiar with them." The director explained. "But I did not know that The Blue Phoenix also has catering services."

The Blue Phoenix?

Sighing inwardly, Francheska finally had a clue on what was happening. Surely, she is the only can capable of doing it.
