After executing his recovery art, the energy in The Heavenly Demons body became so intense that it solidified. After spending a couple days in that state, he felt a presence approaching him and immediately recalled his energy. Although his body was still in a terrible state, the life threatening injuries he received were healed. Unfortunately, his strength had fallen from the the True Divinity level to stage 1 of Legendary Level. Normally this would've been disappointing, however something strange happened while using the mystic Art. As he felt the energy in his core, he discovered that some of its attributes had changed. The Art takes energy from the surroundings and resonates it with the power core in order to "steal" energy for recovery. The main theory behind this method is in harmony, if his core wasn't drained of energy, the art would have failed almost immediately, his power was simply too overwhelming. However, due to the harmonization of his body, core energy, and the natural energy obtained from the Stormy Regions, his core was surrounded by dark red bolts of ethereal lightning.

He had heard that under some circumstances, martial artist sometimes had elemental core energy. 'That Monk bastard was similar. He was able to miraculously heal at incredible speeds and every step he took caused flowers to bloom even amidst our battle. The only way I was able to clinch victory at the time was by using a view of my ultimate techniques.' But now, seeing his core, he was sure that he was in a similar situation. He could feel the fierceness of the crimson lightning, it's incredible destructive and piercing power. 'No element can possibly fit me better than lightning.'

As his attention went away from his core, his eyes locked on a man with golden eyes and black hair. He was dressed in an overly thick cloak and beads of sweat visibly trickled from his forehead. "Can I have some directions?" As The Heavenly Demon spoke the man immediately ran away as if his life depended on it. Never had he seen someone run away so fast. While the man ran, he was finally able to survey his surroundings somewhat. The storm was still raging overhead, only now he felt in tune with the storms. As if, he was part of them, as if he belonged. In the distance were a few sparse trees continuously being assaulted by the vicious storms, a few hilled regions stood in between and mountains stretched in the distance.

After a few moments, his body began to shake and he shot in the direction of the man running away. For some reason he felt amused. Normally, he would have slaughtered him and extracted information from his soul through a certain technique, but perhaps being given another chance at life made him magnanimous. He caught up fairly quickly and appeared in front of the speeding man, "I just want some directions." As if in a daze the man was scared stiff. "Hello? Can you give me directions?" Snapping out of his stupor the man calculated quietly in his mind desperately searching for a chance to survive, the only answer that came to mind was single word, "Yes."

Hearing this, The Heavenly Demon immediately said, "Show me the nearest place with people." At this, the man became quite confused, 'Does he not know where we are? Who the hell is this guy!?' Despite his doubts he quickly responded, "There's a small town 3 days travel from here in that direction." As he spoke the man quickly gestured in a certain direction and quickly turned around and headed in the opposite direction. Almost immediately, a hand gripped on his shoulder attached to a middle aged man with a simple smile, "Where are you going? The town is that way no?" Hearing those words brought despair to the helpless researcher. "Yes sir, you're right. I must've got my directions confused. Please follow me." The man quickly started walking in the direction of the town being careful not to piss of this eccentric powerhouse as tears streamed down his face.

While following the man, The Heavenly Demon began to ponder about what he should do moving forward. Although he was injured, he had killed all the leaders from the Alliance during the battle. There was no place left for him in the Martial Realm. Not revenge nor desire, if anything, for the heavenly demon, the only thing left for him there was a life of utter boredom. He had spent most his life in the Demonic Sect. All of his efforts were for the sole purpose of growing stronger in order to survive. No action was off the table for The Heavenly Demon if it meant survival. When he finally reached the peak, he destroyed his sect and began being chased by the alliance for years. Now that he wasn't at the peak, perhaps he could cut lose and have some fun in this strange new land. No more worries, just the freedom to do whatever I want. 'For now let's observe, then I'll take everything this world has to offer for myself.' At this thought, The Heavenly Demon released and laugh. While the man in the lead became visibly startled and sped up his already fast pace.
