Merle's Case

About 10 years ago, in a time of innovation and evolution, Merle Distortean somehow made friends with the actual Queen, Queen Nori. Merle was a very average teenager, you know, she goes to school. But as you may have probably guessed, Chromia was not normal due to the very long and evolving age of magic. At her time, magic hoops were all the rage, like it was the criteria if you're parents loved you or not. Since her parents, Macron the tower and Contrastica the Light, were infamously named on the power of their hoops. Merle had two siblings, her happy go lucky little sister: Golden and her isolation-type big brother: Saph. Each of them had hoops, in that time hoops only had two moves: Storing and releasing things for easy storage and the healing hoop, which can expand to accommodate users of different shapes and sizes. She was really really good friends with Nori. They were both practically inseperable. That all changed on the day Nori's coronation day, she was so busy with all the training and all the meetings and all that royal hustle and bustle every single day got to her friendship. At the time, Merle was taking her master's class in the field of Magic and Sorcery all the way over in the Goldfield University so they both got a very limited amount of time together. Not that later, Merle needed to get a part-time job to be able to make use of her spare time and pay her rent for the boarding house. Nori, being the good friend she was, hired Merle as her top advisor for a reasonable amount. So their trade was Nori made Merle the official top advisor and Nori borrows her hoop.The transaction was very successful but not too long after, she received a very personalized and fairly suspicious video from her very trusted and close reporter friend, Felicity Featherwing that Goldfield was about to wage a war against the Bitesmiths which leaves Chromia in the very center. Acting on impulse, she put Chromia in a hoop and teleported it underground to protect it but then, Queen Nori irrationally dungeoned her. A few months in the dungeon and she heared from her dungeon neighbor that Felicity Featherwing was paid to do that announcement by a mysterious figure whose name starts with n. A few years pass and the real story of how Merle was dungeoned and the news catches up with the new queen: Nori's daughter, Eliza. Eliza was just crowned a couple months ago and she does everything to make her subjects happy. So she redecorated all of the prisoner's dungeon cells. She also gave back the hoop her mother forgot to give back and the claw that was seen in the underground a few weeks ago. She gave it to Eliza. Merle finally knew that the person controlling Felicity was named Nightrine. She was the infamous puppeteer and all that she controlled turned into Night Moths when night fell. Throughout the years, Merle's case has been strengthened and proven. Now Merle is living peacefully by Lake Splinter.wuw
