Chapter - 3

The next day

I was in school walking down our hallways to get to the class with Olly in silence .

"Um.. Olly ? Is everything alright ?" I asked him . " Ya everything is fine Ell . Don't worry . " he said

" What's up ? " I asked again . " It's nothing, " he said looking down .

" What's wrong ? " I stood in the middle of the hallway . " You know you can talk to me right ? " I asked .

" I know that Ells . It's nothing Ellie . Really - it's nothing . " He reassured me . " Okay then . " I said and started walking and talking again . Wait - started blabbering again .

After a minute or two , we reached in front of Olly's locker . My locker was like at the end of the whole building . Ugh - sad right ? I know .

As I was waiting for Olly to take his books out , Sam , Lisa and Brune waved at me .

" Hey guys " I waved back . They all came and joined us and started wishing me .

" Happy Birthday to you - Happy Birthday to you - Happy Birthday Dear Ellie - Happy Birthday to you . " They all sang in the middle of the hallway .

" Happy belated birthday Ellie . " they all hugged me one by one . " Thank you, people . " I smiled and hugged them back .

" We love you weirdo . " said Lisa and hugged me again . " Aw - I love you too guys . " I said, patting my best friend's back .

" Again thank you for the flowers Sam " I said to Sam after a while when everybody started conversing among themselves .

" No problem . " he smiled .

" I see you've already taken your books . " I pointed out . " Yeah . I took these home yesterday . "

" Lucky you . " I said . " Yep - lucky me . "

" Did you - " Brune started just as the bell rang . " See you at lunch, people ." I said and pulled Olly with me .

" Whoa - where to ? " asked Olly .

" My locker you dumbass . " I said, rolling my eyes . My books were not given much importance . Big sigh .

" Oh right . You also study here . " he joked .

After doing some Olympic-ish stunt and grabbing my books , we were finally at the door of our class listening to be responsible by our oh not so favorite teacher , Mrs. Fed . We were just like two minutes late - okay ten minutes . But hello ? My locker is literally in another universe .

" Where were you ? " She asked . We both just stood in silence with our heads hung low .

" Mr. Olliver ? " she asked, turning her full attention to Olly . " Sorry Mrs. Fed . We were late in grabbing our things . " he said . Mrs. Fed just sighed - an irritated sigh by the way .

" Why can't you kids come a little early then, " said Mrs. Fed, rubbing her forehead with her fingers .

"This better not happen again . Ok ? " She asked . We both just nodded . " Come in . "

After sitting in our respective seats , at the last - Mrs. Fed continued with the chapter . It was English so be prepared for some interesting topics and answers .

" Why do you think the author chose to wear black clothes - Mr. Gabriel ? " She asked Gabriel ; one of our classmates . " Because he felt sad and lonely . " said Gabriel, throwing his hands sideways in the air in a very dramatic way, making the whole class laugh . " That is correct Mr. Gabriel " she praised him ignoring the laughter in the class . He just laughed and nodded his head . After all , this was English .

After English , it was acting for me and Olly had different classes so we parted ways . Sam and I had the same routine after the first class . We met outside the class and headed towards the second one .

After finishing our acting class , we had lunch . Me and Sam were just discussing if we would take part in the play that was coming up or not . Just then we met Brune and we all headed to the cafeteria together . Olly and Lisa were already there .

" You know Lisa has a crush on Gabriel " started Brune when we met Lisa . The boys just ignored us and started their own talk .

" Lisa and Gabriel . " Brune gestured to a heart shape with her hands .

" Brune - shhhh " Lisa warned . " He is right beside us . " she gestured with her eyes .

" Gabriel ?? " Brune called him . " Brunella !! " Lisa tried to stop her by using her FULL NAME . " Lisa has a crush on you . " she blurted out .

" Oops - " said Brune and dragged me away . I was very shocked - I mean Brune is a confident girl so not so shocked but still . Brune was just laughing . When I turned back to see the table , Olly and Sam were laughing on their own and Gabrielle and Lisa were just blushing as hell . Me and Brune just started laughing now seeing their situation . Lisa was just giving us death stares .

" You'll thank me later babe . '' shouted Brune and winked at her . Lisa just stood there with a huge blushy-smile on her face now . Everyone in the cafeteria was staring back and forth between Brune and Lisa .

" You are something else . " I said as we sat down . " What ? Somebody had to tell . " she said as she sat down too .

Brune and I sat in the corner now whereas everyone else started eating their food .

Just as the bell rang , Lisa came running toward us . " GUYS - GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT ? " Lisa started jumping up and down, giggling and happy . Brune just rolled her eyes . " He asked you out ? " Brune said with a - duh tone . " Nope, " she said with excitement . " I DID . " she said .

Me and Brune just looked at each other with a shocked expression . Lisa asked someone out ??

Lisa just rolled her eyes at us . "Hey Gabriel ? " Lisa called from across the room . " Did I or did I not ask you out ? " she asked him .

Me and Brune again looked at each other with a shocked-smile on our faces now . " Yep - u beat me to it . " he laughed . " Alright . Thanks . Be on time . " she said . Gabriel just started laughing . " Aye aye captain . "

" Where did Lisa go ? " Brune jokes . " Seriously - where is Lisa ? What did you - you - freakishly .. confident Lisa do to our shy unconfident uncool friend Lisa ? " Brune joked again making us laugh .
