Second pokemon and bond evolution!

1 year later,

It has been one year since we met Ralts. In this one year we focused much more on training than previous years. Ralts has also become a part of our team and my second pokemon. It happened like this,

One year ago,

After getting to know Ralts' situation I made up my mind to help Ralts and train her to become powerful in hopes that she may get over all her difficulties.

The next day,

Today we are supposed to meet Ralts in the outskirts of the poketown in an isolated open ground.

I arrived here early as I wanted to organize my thoughts first before speaking with Ralts.

Watching Ralts coming toward the ground i wave my hand to signal her and called her loudly,

"Here, Ralts!!!"

Hearing my voice and seeing my signal, Ralts perked up and ran towards me with a brilliant smile.

I immediately noticed the difference in Ralts from the time we first met.

This change began a few days after we met as she slowly became more indifferent? To anything other than us. Although I wouldn't say it's a bad change as she now doesn't mind others' actions toward her. She is more cheerful and always clings to me. I suppose I have become somewhat of a spiritual support for her. Maybe she is trying to leave her past behind with my support.

My feelings for her also changed from sympathy, pity and greed to genuine affection.

That's right, greed. From the start I had the plan to help her but not become so close to her as now. But that changed when the first day we played, Ralts showed me an exceptional affinity with the dark attribute. So much so that after experimenting a little I came to the conclusion that her affinity with the dark attribute is at least rank 8 to 9.

I had the idea to get close to her and ask her to join us when we leave this town.

But now I just want to help her.

Anyway, as Ralts comes close to me she suddenly jumps from her position as she hugs me tightly.

"Ralts!! Ra.. Ralts!"

After some time hugging, I let Ralts down to finally start the important discussion.

"Ralts i have something important to ask you."

"Ralts?" (What is it?)

"Ralts, are you content with your life now? Do you not want more friends? Do you want others to not avoid you anymore?"

I said that in a way that would bring her past trauma and desires back.

I know it may hurt her but i don't intend to cuddle her, rather i want to toughen her.

I know some may say that I'm emotionally manipulating her. But I don't have any qualms about it. Because no matter how much I sweetened my words in the end the decision lies in Ralts hand. Besides I'll take every advantage I can to further my goals and if my words can sway her against her own will that will just add another thing in the training list.

"Ralts!" (I don't care as long as I have you.)

Replied Ralts pointing at me.

Although I can't understand pokemon language, with minor emotion sensing along with her expression and gesture i think i know what she meant.

Revising my thoughts, in the end I came up with a simple plan that is to entice her.

"Let me ask again. Do you want to spend more time with us training, do you want to be strong enough so you can come to my place? Do you want to be so powerful nobody will talk bad about you anymore?"

"Ralts!!" ( yes!) said Ralts as she cupped her cheeks, getting lost in her thoughts.

'Uwawawa… is Aeron asking me to spend more time with him?Can I really go to his home?Can I finally shut the annoying bugs that keep harping about aeron wasting his time on me? Mama said to slowly get close to him one step at a time. Won't it be a jump in our relationship!'

Hearing Ralts positive reply Aeron fake cough a little to gain Ralts attention as he said in a sincere tone,

"Then let me help you Ralts! Let's train together from now on. I promise to make you powerful enough that you won't ever be restricted and no pokemon would dare to talk behind you!"

Hearing Aeron's promise Ralts felt warm in her heart as she further affirmed that only Aeron can be her mate.

"Ralts.. Ra.. Ralts!" (Ralts loves Aeron!)

Said Ralts as suddenly the world slowly came to a stop as Aeron and Ralts looked at each other as their spirit came out of their bodies.

Unlike the last time when Aeron bonded with meloetta, this time the process lasted longer. They could feel each other's presence mixing together when dark energy began to come from Ralts side of the bond and psychic energy from Aerons side of the bond as they augmented the other enhancing Ralts psychic talent and giving Aeron the affinity for the dark element.

Furthermore as their bonding progressed slowly their aura began to nurture them making changes to their bodies as just before their bonding finished a bright light covered them up before making a cocoon.

On the side meloetta watched this with fascination in her eyes.

Finally after a few hours the intense light began to dim slowly before vanishing completely as Ralts and Aeron could be seen standing in the open ground.

As Aeron slowly opened his eyes he looked at Ralts standing before him.

Her whole color theme changed from white body green hair and pink horn like appendages to dark black body, white face and limbs and same dark black hair with blood red horn like appendages.

At first glance there was no change aside from the obvious color change but when he focused he could spot many little changes.

" She grew a little taller and her fingers are more human-like."

Naturally Ralts isn't the only one who changed,

Aeron grew up to look more like a 14 year old boy.

Aside from this there are no visual changes.

Aeron focused on his fire element energy on his forehead as a horn similar to an oni appeared on his head.

Taking back the energy Aeron watched the horn disappear in his forehead.

"I will name it an elemental enhancement horn. Since its function is to enhance my elemental capabilities."

Naming the addition in his body Aeron focused on the system notification.

[ congratulations! Host has reached a threshold in his bond with the pokemon 'Ralts' and commenced bond evolution! ]

Focusing on the bond evolution word brought,

[ bond evolution: upon reaching a threshold in the bond between a human and pokemon, the essence and spirit of the two bonded comes together and evolves both parties. if the pokemon is not fully evolved the gains are minimal and will advance with the pokemons evolution.]

And this bond brought them closer as Ralts officially became Aerons pokemon.

After a year of intense training we all reached the peak of tier 1, level 100! However we're also stranded on this level as there is a major bottleneck to advance to tier 2.

Besides, even if there was a way to ignore the bottleneck, we simply couldn't advance due to our personal issues.

Tier 1 is a foundation level. In this tier one simply accumulates stats until reaching the limit.

When one accumulates enough stat to be considered B grade by my system one can advance to the next level.

Naturally all three of us grinded like madmen and advanced only when reaching the limit per level.

The system grades for stats are like this,

F ~ E- ~ E ~ E + ...… SS- ~ SS~ SS+ ~ SSS .

All three of us advanced only when we reached SSS in every stat.

And it certainly has benefits that will be apparent once we reach tier 2.

But none of us can advance past tier 1 for now.

Because tier 2 and onwards are essentially breaking one's limit and growing beyond it.

However we are children who haven't completely grown yet.

I'm 9 years old this year and according to gracham i will hit my growth spurt this year. It will last till I'm 10.

Now I will naturally grow more after 10. However this growth spurt at 9-10 is important as it sets one's foundation.

Otherwise if one tries to limit break there is a high chance one's body will deforme.

In the best case you at least get to live and in the worst case its game over!

Pokemons to have this problem too however their growth spurt comes between 4-5 years old.

Mel is 3 years old so she won't be advancing for 2 years.

And Ralts wants to finish her evolution first before advancing.

Evolution is considered natural limit breaking as it doesn't come with any risks.

Ralts could have evolved to a Gardevoir by now but we held it off.

From the knowledge I got from palkia there is something called limit evolution. It simply means to reach level 100 and evolve.

But after level 100 there are no more levels so how would one level up and evolve further?

Simple, upon limit evolution one's level decreases a few levels without losing anything.

Aside from more stats upon limit evolution one's potential also increases by one, if resources are used that number can be pushed to two!

Ralts initial potential was deep green. A monster indeed however upon limit evolution her potential can be pushed to purple. Will she become a mega monster? Then isn't Mel a gigantamax monster with deep black potential!

Anyway now that we are stuck in our level,
