A new wave of feelings

Ethan stayed alone in the music room thinking about and what had happened yesterday when he went home. He rushed inside saw a pair of male shoes infront of the doorstep , he brightened up because it was would be the first time he say his mom with a man and he thought maybe mom had finally gathered up courage and moved on from her relationship with dad.

 He walked rang the doorbell and his mom immediately opened the door with a look of concern on her face, Ethan was quick to notice that there was a problem. He walked in and saw a familiar man. Memories of his childhood began flooding into his brain, it was his father and he looked at him with full anger and hatred.

 "Mom, what is this man doing here?, he said shouting out".

"Ethan you have to calm down, please listen to me and I'll explain, his mom said".

  "Calm down? You want me to calm down when this monster is right in our home… the past years for goodness sake the past few years, you suddenly disappeared leaving mom with me to fend for us… what kind of father does that? Apart from that, you hurt mom both physically and mentally and expect me to open my arms wide to embrace you, crazy man, Ethan said very angry".

 "Ethan, the man finally spoke up".

 "Did this crazy man just call my name mom?…, Ethan said disgusted".

"Ethan  just listen to…., she didn't finish her statement, Ethan took his bag and left home angrily.

 "Ethan please, his mom shouted".

Ethan decided not to think about what happened, he decided to listen to music because it was his only mechanism of cooling down. 

  After a couple of minutes, Rose walked in, sitting down close to him. "Ethan…Ethan?, she said tapping him.

 "Oh sorry I didn't hear you come in… oh it's you, what do you want rose?, Ethan asked irritated.

 "Well i was searching for you to ask you about something but I heard that you were a little bit off today, knowing I would find you here I came, remember you always came here whenever you were feeling sad, rose said".

 "Well thanks for your concern but I'm doing okay, there's no need for you to show concerns as you can see I'm doing alright, I just decided to listen to some songs, Ethan said".

 "Alright I just wanted to ask if you could accompany me to the dance on Friday as we usually do every time".

 "I already have someone I want to take to the party, he said abruptly".

 Rose began to feeling frustrated and realized it was time to top up her game if she really wanted Ethan back… "Jasmine is going with Alexander, she told me a while ago".

 Ethan looked a little bit sad, "I didn't tell you who I was going with and no I'm not accompanying you to the party our relationship already ended when you cheated on me, he said raising up to leave".

 At the same time, the music room door swung open and jasmine came in, rose saw her and immediately had an idea, she grabbed Ethan and kissed him.
