"It's the soldier, isn't it?"
Shizu obvious question lingered in the air around them just as they started walking toward their destination. The continuous tremors rocking beneath their feet did little to upset their balance as their focus remained on the massive cloud of dust erupting from the distance, and Riku narrowed his eyes as he felt the other adventurer's gazes land on their respective backs. They were clearly listening, even if they had no idea who they were talking about.
"The one and only," Stephen grunted. "Once you two left, my associate and I did our best to try and run from him as well. Clearly, it didn't last long if the monster actually managed to catch up to us."
"So you didn't try to kill him," Riku concluded, not being able to resist the idea of mocking the man.
