Clearing his throat, Riku grabbed Shizu by the hand just as his action brought most of the crowd's attention to him. Seeing that he now had the floor, he spoke aloud while keeping eye contact with the trio from before.
"While I thank you all for your hospitality, we sadly already have a group that would escort us to the Dungeon," he casually lied, diplomatically diffusing the situation with practiced precision. "Thank you for all the well wishes, however. We'll make sure to try and avail your services should the need for them arises."
With his piece said, the former assassin then shoved his way through the crowd with Shizu in tow, the adventurers listlessly parting as they all began to disperse. The air of disappointment was palpable, but he didn't really care. They were all inconsequential to the Game anyway, especially since they wouldn't be able to leave this Realm in the first place.
