"How can you go?" The old man asked again.
Now Lycaon understood what did the old man mean. He was not trying to let him go.
"Why don't you want me to go?" Lycaon asked.
"Can you?" The old man asked.
No, the old man was not letting him go. He knew Lycaon couldn't go with him present condition and he was proving it.
Getting away from the old man, he spoke.
"Let me go."
"Try." The old man said.
For a moment, he didn't want to fight with the old man. The old man being a relative of his mother, he felt a little amount of respect towards him.
"I don't want to hurt you." Lycaon said. He was still keeping the distance from him.
"Even if you want, you can't." The old man said.
Lycaon scoffed a laugh. "You are old." He said.
