Chapter 261: [Training]

[Grandora City, Polar Dormitory]

With both of them on one end of the training area, they soon get ready to fight as they will treat this training as if it were the real thing where their life is at stake. Of course for training purposes there are certain conditions before they start.

First is that they are not allowed to use their weapons special traits which they mostly use in real combat. Second they cannot use their chaos ability since it will damage the area and possibly use to their advantage to win. Lastly whoever breaks the first two rule automatically loses the match.

With such rules Jinwoo then took out his staff (ryuyi jingu bang), while Kanzaki tool out his sword (Fafnir). Soon after both sides finished their preparations, they then soon started as Kanzaki took the first initiative.

Rushing towards Jinwoo in quick speed, Kanzaki then placed his sword below as he aimed low, and swung it upwards towards Jinwoo. However despite that quick initiative, Jinwoo was able to react due to experience, as he redirected the attack which gave him chance to swing the other end of his staff and squarely pushed back Kanzaki.

After pushing Kanzaki back, he then squats on the floor while touching the ground, as he launched himself forward, before swinging down his staff.

In response to this Kanzaki then quickly stepped to the side in order to dodge the attack, only to get hit once more when Jinwoo suddenly spun his staff around his body and thrust it behind him in quick maneuver.

Due to how fast Jinwoo juggle his staff, Kanzaki then had a hard time defending himself fully against it, completely showcasing the difference of experience between the two. After all, no matter what anyone says, Kanzaki had only been a member of the organization for a year and had only been relying on his chaos ability to win fights rather than his skills, so he was somewhat outclassed.

Despite all that, there was actually one undeniable part, he was still growing. With that Kanzaki gripped his sword as he charged forward and begun to swing up his sword towards Jinwoo. However upon seeing this, Jinwoo simply countered his swing with his own swing down causing a friction to spark as their weapons clashed against one another.

Soon after seeing that Jinwoo was slowly winning in this contest of strength, Kanzaki then held his sword with two hands, as he pushed back Jinwoo's staff and begun attacking rapidly towards him. In response to that, Jinwoo quickly juggled his staff as he countered every attack with his own rapid strikes.

After the 10th consecutive clash, Jinwoo spun around his staff above his head, as he slammed it down towards Kanzaki, forcing the latter to quickly jump back on order to avoid getting hit by Jinwoo's attack. However the moment he did this, Jinwoo then immediately used his staff like a pole arm the moment his strike missed its target and jumped in mid air, before manueavering his staffonce more and slammed it down towards Kanzaki who was suspended in the air from when he jumped back.

Due to that Kanzaki had no choice but to held his sword vertically upwards, as he blocked the attack, only to get dragged down by the impact of the force from the clash, causing him to crash on the ground on his back.

"Ugh!"

After pinning Kanzaki on the ground, Jinwoo then quickly pulled back his staff, as he held it like a spear and threw it towards Kanzaki as if he wants to kill him. However despite that, Kanzaki quickly reacted from that movement, as he rolled to the side in order to prevent himself from being knocked out by the throw.

Even though he can't use his foresight  haos ability, the experience he had accumulated till now had shaped him up quite a bit, which enable him to react quickly and avoid getting killed or knocked out. He is growing through experiences.

"You dodged that"

"Of course! I knew that you were going to do that when I saw your throwing stance, glad I reacted in time"

"Indeed! Your growing stronger Kanzaki"

After Jinwoo said that, he then quickly retrieved his staff from the ground, as he looked towards Jinwoo and begun to get serious. Upon seeing this, Kanzaki then begun to raise his awareness as he realized that Jinwoo was about to get serious.

In the next moment as if he had blinked, Jinwoo suddenly disappeared from his initial position, as he came close towards Kanzaki in a blink of an eye and thusted his staff forward which forced Kanzaki's to defend himself against it while getting blown back.

However the attack didn't end there as Jinwoo quickly catches up to Kanzaki being blown back and swung his staff from behind him, which slings back Kanzaki forward and rolling across the floor.

From that Kanzaki ache in pain, as he coughed out a mouthful of saliva  before wiping them off with his sleeves. But as he was doing this, Jinwoo got closer to him once more, as he grabbed his head and smashed it to the ground which pinned him down once more.

"You just let your guard down... don't ever let your guard down Kanzaki, that's how you will survive longer"

After Jinwoo said those words, he then released him as he stood up and continued to scold Kanzaki.

"You know this too Kanzaki, a war is coming... this war will decided whether humanity is allowed to continue to exist or not... if we lose then humanity will soon cease to exist, so we can't lose... don't let your guard down, anything can happen in a war"

"....."

"Also don't rely on your abilities to win your battles too much Kanzaki, their not omnipotent, they can help you win fight, but not all of them"

"I.... "

"Anyway! Stand up! Let's continue"

When Jinwoo said that, he then went back to his original position as he waited for Kanzaki to go back to his own side too. Upon seeing this Kanzaki stood up once more as he put all of Jinwoo's advice deep within his heart.
