Chapter 180 : [Operation Main (Battle II)]

The moment Jinwoo took a few steps inside the building, two new chaos being popped out of the 2nd floor indoor balcony and begun attacking him with devastating bombardment of red laser from their mouths. Even though its an exaggeration to say that the chaos being's attack came from their mouth, such creatures were in fact in a form of a mixture of a beast and a flower head.

The attacks mainly came from their flower head which is in a state of a closed off-shoot of a flower. From the tip of the off-shoot, red energy started to gather at its tip and shoot out red beam towards Jinwoo in a rapid succession.

Due to this Jinwoo was blasted off the building as he came crashing to the ground  before coming to a stop in the middle of the road. The moment Jinwoo was blasted out of the building, every soldiers  and agents that were rushing over towards the area, immediately got alerted by the presence of the enemy inside the building and begun to hastily set up their formation.

Under one of the commands of a captain in the military force, one soldeir quickly took a peek at the enemy through the cracks of the building and immediately saw what the enemy look like. Upon seeing such creature, the soldier immediately reported back what he saw through the gaps towards everyone in the formation before proceeding to further examine the area.

However before the said soldier could fully examine the room, a huge hand suddenly grabbed him from inside the building as it crushed him completely under the force of its  grip strength. Upon seeing one of their comrades die in battle, the soldiers quickly fans out of the area as they begun attacking the chaos being in a form of a mix of human and gorilla.

In that moment while some soldiers were evacuating the affected civilians in the area, the main force begun attacking the gorilla man like chaos being with the help of some agents present in the area itself. Thankfully some of the agents that got affected by the mental attack had somehow recovered from their state of mind, because of that suppressing the huge chaos being was so easy to the point that the soldiers only have to provide support fire from behind.

Not long after, with the joint force of the military and the organizations agents, they were able to take down the huge chaos being as they proceeded to enter the building itself. But once they got in, bombardment from the balcony then rained at the buildings entrance which hindered their march and caused some of the agents to be blasted out of the building like Jinwoo.

This time however the number of flower head chaos being at the end balcony had reached about 20 creatures. Just from the looks of it, this creatures had actually gathered some of its kind, in one area when the gorilla like man chaos being were attracting the attention of the enemy forces. Due to that the bombardment was much more sever than when Jinwoo had first stepped in.

From this moment on, the soldiers entered a stalemate situation with the chaos beings as the captain quickly commanded his men to reload their Klein magazines. Under the guide of the military captain, all the soldiers who took cover then begun firing back at the chaos beings the moment their attacks showed gap in their bombardment.

However due to how the head was constructed, the off-shoot petal apparently provided as a cover shield which blocked all the attacks aiming for its head. But due to this phenomenon, the captain of the military unit quickly realized one plausible thing for such construction, "If there was a shield then maybe there is something to protect", and what's being protected on its head may contain the creatures fatal weakness.

With such conclusion from his observation, he then relayed the information towards everyone in the area, before instructing everyone to gear up their attacks. Of course while they did such a thing, the chaos being once more begun the bombardment from above which raised the intensity of the battle.

With each explosion, the soldiers in their cover felt their heartbeat racing, as they quicken their pace in gearing up their firepower. Of course their cover doesn't actually gave them a complete protection from the attacks, so from time to time some of the attacks break through their cover and took down some of the soldiers in the area. But since the military soldiers don't have any means of protection from the mana shots of the chaos beings unlike the specially made combat uniforms of the agents in the organization, one shot was all it takes for them to actually die from the attack.

In that moment when the bombardment begun showing signs of opening, the captain of the military unit instructed everyone to open fire and target solely the head of the chaos beings in the second floor balcony. This time however, some of the agents quickly joined the fray as they rushed up towards the enemies on the second floor.

However the group of chaos being also sent out a dog like chaos being from the ground floor to intercept the agents from the ground. Since those hound like chaos being proved to be much more dangerous when left alone for the military unit to handle, some of the agents then directly head straight towards the hound like chaos being while the others quickly split ways and headed straight towards the second floor.

Unexpectedly the moment the agents reached the stairs leading to the second floor, a porcupine like chaos being appeared before the stairs and blasted out sharp needles towards the agents from the ground floor. Under that one attack, some of the agents were rendered immobile by the enemy, while only one agents died from being pierced by needles from head to toe.

Apparently such agent was the foremost person  in the group, since he has at the head of the group, he actually took the full brunt of the attack, causing the said agent to die. Even thought the death was saddening, it wasn't enough for it to stop the experienced agents from ever heading straight towards the 2nd floor. Thus after the initial shock, the agents flooded the stairs as they quickly took down the porcupine like chaos being.

Among the crowd was Jinwoo who catches up after being blasted out of the building. However instead of squeezing his way through the stairs, Jinwoo got back under the balcony of the second floor as he quickly used his chaos ability to further enhance the strength of his legs.

In just one jump, he quickly landed on the second floor balcony surrounded by chaos beings, as he quickly pulled out his iron rod staff and swung it towards the chaos being in brutal force. After the initial engagement, Jinwoo took down all the flower head chaos being as he brutally ripped apart its head by just relying in his brute physical strength.

After eliminating the enemy on the second balcony, Jinwoo then moved to another area, as he tries to find the whereabouts of the terrorist group and Claire herself. On the other hand when the soldiers at the entrance saw Jinwoo making his move, they then rushes in in order to secure the building itself.
