Chapter 142: [Operation Spearhead IV (Eurasia)]

After arriving at the nation border between China and Russia the sub-checkpoint of the operation in this area, or better yet the place near Khabarovsk city. Kanzaki together with the rest of the group appointed in this area then lounged off the transport vehicle as they were welcomed by soldiers and officers stationed in this area.

As Kanzaki, Richard, Yuti, and Farid got off the vehicle and followed behind commanding officer Zhang, a small time officer of the area then greeted the said officer of the group as he stated out his words in respect to a person with a higher status.

"Commanding officer Zhang!" said by the officer as he saluted the said person

"Officer! any updates?" asked Commanding officer Zhang

"None yet sir! there are still no suspicious movement near the border, much less to the fortified city sir!" said by the officer

"Can you even call it a city in such state?" asks Commanding officer Zhang as he remembered that most of the populated area in Russia was decimated during the apocalypse's just like china

Due to the apocalypse's that happened 10 years ago, Russia was one of the leading countries that got hit pretty hard. Naturally the places that suffered the most but mostly still alive are the cities of Russia due to their encompassing size. But with such damage being done during the apocalypse, it was very hard for the remaining people in Russia to rise back up in the economy due to their state.

In order to survive in such land and retain their dignity as proud Russian citizen, no matter what's left of them, they then created a fortified shelter to places that are still intact after the apocalypses and start a new. However throughout the span of 10 years, Russia is still a country that are still in the slumps.

"The residents on the fortified shelters still wanted to call their place as a city, despite the huge difference to other comparable cities in other places... its like they their pride wouldn't let them stoop low and degrade themselves" said by the officer

"Well its understandable, after all even we Chinese had our own pride and dignity to uphold, despite losing their title as one of the world's powerhouse, they still wanted to regard them as such just to keep their image... pay it no heed" said by the Commanding officer Zhang

After that as they walked towards the checkpoint building, the officer of the area then asked Commanding officer Zhang a certain question.

"By the way sir! when do you plan to cross the border?"

"Tomorrow at dawn 6am sharp" replied by Commanding officer Zhang

"I see... would you like for us to prepare a vehicle for the whole group?" asks by the officer

"We don't need that yet...we will go on foot, but if situation arises we will then just ask for an unused car from the citizens within the fortified shelter... after all Khabarovsk isn't that far"

"Understood"

after that they spoke about different military topics for awhile, before the said officer bowed towards Commanding officer Zhang and leaving the whole group. With the officer's absence, Commanding officer Zhang then turned towards their group as he gave out an order before leaving elsewhere.

"I will dismiss the group for today, you can do whatever you want... you could roam about the area, prepare your equipment, talk to some people, or other entertaining activities you plan to hold... in exchange for such a leeway schedule, i want all of you to follow two absolute rule... one you better be assembled here tomorrow before 6am sharp, two beyond that border, my words are absolute... do we get that clear?"

In responses to that everyone nodded and replied

"Understood"

With that Commanding officer Zhang then left the place, as the rest of the team roam about in the area of the checkpoint.

After a few hours since they have arrived Kanzaki can currently be seen looking at the border from afar. No one knows why or the reason why he doing this, not even the the person himself notices his own eyes which should turn to blue hue the moment his chaos ability the foresight was used, had suddenly turned gold.

Such transformation of his eyes had only happened once and that was during the monster attack that happened in Grandora city a couple of months ago. During that time Kanzaki himself didn't realize his own eyes turned gold, which enhances his own abilities to a whole new level. All he knows is that his eyes can only change into a blue hue and nothing more.

The only people who realizes that his eyes can turn gold are his whole team in the Polar dormitory aside from Alice, and that was during the time he fought the chimera. The whole team or better yet the dormitory itself doesn't know the reason why his eyes turned gold or the concepts behind it, all they know is that such a phenomenon is a mysterious thing.

From then moment till now, Kanzaki's eyes had turned to gold for only about two times. Since Kanzaki doesn't even realizes such phenomenon happening, he naturally does not have any means of controlling it yet.

At this very moment, Kanzaki was currently using the ability similar to what Alice has, which enables him to see things accurately that are faraway. To him he felt like his foresight was making him see the outline of Khabarovsk city, it was completely unknown to him of what type of ability that he was currently using. Since he doesn't have any knowledge of having golden chaos eyes, Kanzaki just regarded what he see as foresight.

"In that very moment, Yuti a member of his team which is assigned in this area then came up behind him at the exact time his eyes returned to normal.

Facing him Yuti then said.

"Hey!... I'm Yuti..."

"... I know... didn't we just introduced each other back in Shangri-La? we even spent time inside the transport vehicle while on the road" said Kanzaki

"Hiih!!!... Yes... Yes! I'm sorry!!!... It's just that i thought you might forget my name..." said Yuti

"I wont forget such a thing... so why are you here?"

With that Yuti slightly brighten up as she proceeded in the conversation.
