Christoph did not know that a game among the inner circle families caused the agony he was suffering. He drank the blood, and his bones healed. The young man was leaning backward in his chair. In his mind, a voice echoed, "Do you want them to beat the shit out of you again, or are we going to do something?"
Christoph replied, "We are inside a closed-off space. The chair is welded to the ground. My hands are tied to silver chains. The most annoying thing is, these people have a sun burning before my eyes."
Lawrence sighed and began moving around the mindscape. Christoph had tried to push the chair off the ground, but he found that the chair did not even tilt. He was not stupidly going to let these people beat him up. He was observing everything, even with his eyes closed.
The person talking to him earlier came over and asked, "Tell me, can you see with this light?"
