"No local investors? Mayor, once our business flourished, my team will invest to develop our district. Let us help hand in hand and make this district a good tourist spot attraction," Sofia stated.
There was no condition such as, 'if our business will be a success'. It was exactly her next plan. It is essential for their district to have an attraction so that they will have tourists. Tourists will then stay in their hostel.
But, she was not certain yet of what would be the suitable development that they would introduce to their district.
The mayor who's sight was on the road felt the need to look behind his shoulder and glanced at his wife and Sofia. His wife blinked and did not bother to hide the astonishment reflected on her face. Her expression was more than enough to describe the mixed emotions that she felt.
As for Sofia, she gave the mayor a small smile after their eyes briefly made a contact.
